Rang several times today and my message service warned me it was about advertising.

Finally took a call from Shah who was looking for service providers for Government contracts. Claimed access to lots of decision makers and asked if there was any department I was interested in.

He then disappeared for a couple of minutes and returned to ask, if this department wrote an editorial would I buy an advert ? Minimum cost £2000.

When I expressed reluctance I got a routine about how I'd let him down when he'd arranged an article - the attempt at making me feel guilty was laughable and straight out of a bad double-glazing rep's manual.  How any professional falls for it is difficult to imagine.

I had a very rude woman called Jasmine ring me today from PSCA she demanded to speak to the Managing Director, I said he doesn't take calls from unknown companies, to which she replied that he had better take her call as it was regarding Government Health and Safety.... of course it was Jasmine!!!!!.... I dont think so and you will have to do better than that to get passed me...

I have since googled the company and of course found this site so sad when the only way to get on is to be rude and aggressive....

Why does no-one call Trading Standards if they are making false claims about who they represent

Well done ex employee for escaping and seeing the light, if you worked at Birmingham no doubt you experienced the likes of those that would sell their own mothers for the likes of Gordon the biggest con artist around ! He manages to recruit managers  that actually cant think for themselves now because they have been brainwashed by the idiot,  they just dont care because money is more to them than morals they are modern day criminals and the work ethic should be investigated .

We purchased some advertising form publicservice.co.uk and then came across this site. Feeling concerned, we rang in and attempted to cancel our order. We were told we could not cancel.

I am now aware that it our right to cancel any order within seven working days, and that we do not need to give a reason for cancelling - despite what we were told. I strongly advise any company who wish to cancel to be aware that publicservice will deliberatley try and mislead you about the cancellation procedure. Please also be aware that this seven day period is a basic right you have under English law and not an internal policy of theirs which they can use arbitrarily.

And is it proper to put new events up, such as outsourcing, with only ONE confirmed speaker but a host of other names who are merely invited? Could that not be construed as misleading? Why not put David Cameron, Barack Obama and The Dalai Lama up too? You could always send them an invite...
