- DonnaSince moving to this address 2 years ago I have had a number of calls during the day from a company called Frederickson International who are a Debt Collection company. If you answer the quickly it is an automated message stating that Mr..... should call this number Urgently.
As Mr ? does not live here - I'm getting pretty sick of these calls!
The number that used to register on my phone was traceable to Frederickson International when put into Google, however the nuisance number that now registers is '0123456789'. When put into Google, I got this website aswell as numerous others! This company is now calling me at 11pm at night! Not funny considering I get up at 5pm on a morning!!!!
I have therefore phoned my Internet / telephone / Broadband provider to see what they can do! They have given me a number to call in the morning as the are closed tonight (yeh...I'm suposed to be asleep too)! Am gonna report this and block this number or drastically change my telephone number...cos I am NOT Mr ? and I am NOT in debt!!!
Frederickson International are an International Nuisance and if I find out how...I will take them to court for harassment!!!- Caller: Frederickson International
- Call type: Debt collector
- sallyKept getting this number phone me and when I answered all I got was thankyou. Eventually some one did speak to me and they said they were from a security firm and that the windows on my computer were letting in corrupt material. They said i needed to turn on my computer so that they could fix the problem over the phone. Sounded very much like some sort of computer scam to me, so I put the phone down.
- Caller: some security firm
- sally replies to Anony Mouse ☺Same as the call I got but from an asian sounding man, saying that my computer was under threat and I needed to turn it on so he could sort it.
- bethanywhenever my friends call me this number comes up. after a while of mine and my friends conversacion i heard typing, i aske my friend if she was on the computer, she said no. we waited for a while and we pretended to hang up.then we heard other voices talking. we found out that people were listing into our conversacion. i asked amy(my friend)if that is possible, so we looked it up on google. and turns out they are people trying to get personal infomation of us.to see where we live or somthing.. so if you get a call from that number!! He asked me to go into something in my control panel on the computer and when i started to question him he hung up. Sounds really dodgy.
- JAGJust got a call from this No and an Indian man said he was calling about the car accident I had! Asked him whom he wants to speak to and he replied I cannot give a name because of data protection.
I then told him not to call this number again and put down the phone.- Caller: 0123456789

- Nessa| 1 replyJust received a call, this number, computer generated voice told me to contact BRYAN CARTER SOLICITORS urgently, with a reference number.Yeah right, just googled them and they have a web site(legit???)You sign up to pay them what you can afford and they 'sort out'your repayments.Hmmm,no thanks.Like my dear old Ma always says,'if it seems too good to be true, then it is'.

- eedocsmith replies to NessaHallo Nessa,
Well, I've just had a call from this very unusual number.........just reading through the list I assume then that many scammers are sort of sharing it! However they didn't leave a message on my `heritage' Panasonic twin mini cassette analogue answer machine.....it only rings once before going straight to the tape. Therefore I've got nothing to phone them back about.
So its just harassment.....perhaps then this link (for the UK) could be quite useful: http://www.insolvencyhelpline/debt_factsheets/hara ... y_creditors.php There is a 4 page pdf download very clear and straightforward.
Another useful link here is: www.thisismoney.co.uk then enter `PPI (payment protection insurance) miss-selling' as a search and then download a clear template letter in order to respond to credit card companies, that is legally sound and very effective. There's also a link to the UK financial ombudsman and also another pdf complaint form download.....just one page this time!....to be faxed through to the ombudsman.
So no more of this bull...t stuff from debt re-schedulers.....and Bryan Carter; 30-40% that they take from anything that they just might succeed in reclaiming from PPI ....easy does it!
Cheers!
EEDS - eedocsmithOoops!.....the first link should be: http://www.insolvencyhelpline.co.uk/debt_fact ... y_creditors.php
Apologies for that.......but its really an easy download
Thank you

- RobI had a phone call from this number this morning. Bloke was saying he is from Kingfisher telecom and is giving me 40 % discount on my phone bill but only thing he knew about me was my old address (perhaps from the old phonebook) and then he wanted to "update" all my details. So be aware.
- Caller: Kingfisher Telecom
- ID-Theft| 1 replyThey wanted to inform me that I am BT customer and will be getting better rates. I told them I am not with BT and they then asked who I was with. I told them if I was their client they should have all the details. The person on the end of the line had an indian accent and started getting cheeky.
I never supply any verification details over the phone and told them I will be hanging up and followed through with it.
Never verify any personel information to anyone and even it it sounds like they have your details do not supply any more as they are obviously looking for something that they dont already have.- Caller: BT
