calling say i had problem with my computer for a charge they will sort it

this is disgusting tricks to do as someone will believe them

I have also  just received a call from this number stating that I had internal problems with my PC - he wanted me to turn on my computer and he would talk me through a process to fix it.  I couldn't make out the name of the company he was from due to his thick accent but he did state he was calling on behalf of microsoft.  I refused to do as he asked and stated that if he was a legitimate contact then I wanted something in writing.  He was obviously reading from a script as he just kept repeating the same thing and didn't response appropriately to my questions.  I've emailed microsoft to query this, but it all sounds very dodgy to me!

i had a call from 01234567890 @1900hrs today(18/11/11).they had more details and information about me than i knew of myself,even though nearly all my replies were no.even after i put down the phone a 'superviser' called within two minutes.the accent was clearly asian possibly indian.called themselves BRITISH CONSUMER DIRECT.

Just had a call from this number telling me they are Orange marketing services wanting to carry out a 5 question survey about my bill, tariff and service. I told them i was in work and the women chnaged her tone and got very agressive telling me I had to take part. advised her not to call me again. Iv had on call since this which was half an hour ago. seems like they are not going to go away!!!

Had this number come up several times on mobile, missed calls, when I did answer, and told her I do not take cold calls and not to ring again, she said you are not letting me explain myself, I hung up, We are on TPS on land line, which stops some calls, but seem to be getting many more calls than usual recently (Mostly foreiners in call centres)

I had two calls from this number today, first one tried to get me to put a PPI claim in although I have no accounts or have not had any accounts where I took this out-I hung up eventually. Second time another Asian sounding voice, I told him I wasn't interested, was not going to listen to him and would report the matter to police if they persisted.

EPA Claims, usual noisy office background and non english speaking individual trying to sign you up to a service you dont need. I assume from the name he gave its for bank charges !

i am getting calls almost daily from this number .i would love to know why the mindless wonder does this and what they get out of it.

keeps asking me to go on to my computer because i have errors says he is from London .also he is foreigner  i asked him to send me an e mail about this but did not receive one

Asian woman just called me on my mobile number and wanted to know if I wanted to claim PPI back on any financial products I had. Told her as I hadn't asked her to call to take my details off their records and hung up on her.

the caller has rung twice. Once in the middle of the night.

had this call just ,  

first all quiet , then recorded message said " goodbye"

got a phonecall from an indian lad who said my computer was not working, how did he know? :/ was very rude told me to 'shut up' and to 'go away'

same here!! i just want to know after so many complaints why have not been found and stopped?

This is a fake number and is from outside the UK, like molst of the scam calls these days.  That is why it is still operating.

indian sounding female asking to speak to mr george nixon! piss take or what? when i asked who's calling she hung up. also strange as the home number is never given out apart from to supposedley ligitimate firms (telephone, sky, energy etc) and we're x directory

Have nad calls from this number telling me I have a virus on my computer. I am on the TPS & put the phone down, also the wife had a call from a woman but did not let her give any details just told her to stop making these calls.

Had a call from an Indian call centre man who became extremely abusive when I said I would not give my account number and date of birth. He would not also give the name of the company he worked for and also  would not tell me how he got my number even though I am registered with the TPS.

This is a call centre that uses computer software to hide their true overseas number. They have plagued me for the last 3 weeks and will not accept NO for an answer.

When answered, silent, I didn't say anything. Number looks like it has be spoofed.

Is listed as a business number for GiffGaff, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.... interesting
