I also got one today addressed to Mr/Mrs, with a AGL 9273 referance number and 15th October expiry date.  I'm in Gloucestershire so it had a Cheltenham number 01245 695001.  Sounds like a scam to me.  BIN IT.

I got one of these slips of paper today, but it's with compliments of Universal Consulting LTD - same address and phone number though - Victoria House, 1 Gloucester Road, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL51 8LN. That's well dodgy, not going to ring them. Also it was just addressed to 'Mr/Mrs...' on the envelope.

We got the letter in Havant, Hampshire. They didn't fill in the name bit. Glad I thought to look it up first, but I would only have called the local no and not a redirect. Same old scam, different method. Arrived today reply by 19 October. Owners of Universal Consulting Ltd are David Philip Black of 23 Overton Road CHeltenham, and John Black of 5 Cypress Road, Southport. Company is registered as an advertising company. They also own other direct mailing comanies plus a fitness company. All this is available at companies house.

Must be Havant & Hayling , we got ours today. How many will be taken in by this? It should stop at the Post Office or they should put a warning sticker on, it's pretty obvious with the Mr & Mrs... bit that they are all the same!

just did some research unfortunatley David Philip Black of 23 Overton Road CHeltenham has put his house for sale. dam was going to send him my junk mail back!

They have now moved on to Portsmouth it would seem as my 84 year old father received one today, same formate as all the others just changed the phone number to a local Portsmouth one.

I got him to BIN IT.

Received one in Leeds on 21st October.  Guess I will bin it too.....

Got one in Morley in Leeds this morning, looks like they are working the Leeds area again.

Received one in Gloucester today.  Addressed from Universal Consulting Ltd t/a National Surveys Victoria House 1 Gloucester Road Cheltenham GL51 8LN.  My "voucher" expires on 27 October and the number to call is 01242 695001.

I work as a professional researcher and there is no such company as Universal Consulting Ltd - notice how they don't list a companies house registration number.

Scam, scam, scam - avoid!

Hitting Gloucester now as had same letter today. Funny how STD code is 01242 which is Cheltenham with their office address in Gloucester! Will contact Trading Standards and inform them, sure they have had many calls already but we should all do the same to stop these conmen scum!

Got the same letter in Gloucester today 01242 695001 and same address as listed above, my first thought was you don't get anything for nothing..... guess I was right. Thanks to everyone for posting, with any luck we can get these bums run out of town.

I work in the legal field and can confirm that this is, for the want of a better word a 'scam'.

Steer well clear.
