Yep I got one today in Rosyth to call 01242 695001 expires on June 1st 2010.  Total value of gifts exceed £12,400. Glad I checked out this website, shame on them targetting gullable and vulnerable people, they should be stopped its a bloody disgrace.

I just received the same letter saying congratulations blah blah blah....

In the bin now. I really think these people should just get a life and stop trying to scam other people. Sending people junk mail - there should be a law against it.

I'm also from Glasgow & got the letter today in post so it looks like they are hitting Scotland at the moment. Same details as kat22.  Must say it kinda looks authentic but too good to be true.  Luckily I thought to search on Internet first as was very tempted to call it.  Bit worried about all the other vulnerable people who may have received it.  Does anyone know what kind of scam it is exactly??  Identity theft?  Product bombardment?  Sell your phone no etc to advertising companies?  Marketing? Etc. Many thanks to websites like this one & the ppl taking time to share their experience. Scam con averted!  Be vigilant everybody!!!

i got one today in fife, they are all over in the uk its tottely SCAM

yup i called that number and they give me the check worth 12,400 pounds that i won hahahahahah hohohohohoh

got one today, exactly the same as mentioned. so they are doing it in west midlands now. goes in the bin.

i got one this morning universal consulting blah blah blah did any one else have a row of numbers underneath their postcode, what do they mean?

MY "Congratulations" voucher came in the post addressed to "Mrs/Ms" but with no full name, or even indication of my surname, even though the full address was correct. This made me suspicious long before I opened the envelope.
The voucher has a hand written number on it, and if I called 01383-770023 (local number), I would be given a confirmation number. It also states that this nmber has drawn one of the free gifts donated by local business. The total value of gifts exceed £12,400. It has an expiry date stamped on it in red ink.
The voucher is issued by Universal Consulting Ltd t/a National Surveys Victoria House 1 Gloucester Road Cheltenham Gloucestershire GL51 8LN.
I have not made that phone call, and nor do I ever intend to. Isn't it amazing that they randomly selected my details from valid post codes, yet were totally unaware of my gender or my full name. It is a dangerous world that we exist in when our personal details are placed at risk by companies able to purchase address lists freely available on demand!

Hi, I've just received a letter today, giving me just 4hrs to contact them. Thought I would just check the company out first, so here I am !

I live in Worcester and had the same as well Mr/Mrs row of numbers under my postcode and giving me until tomorrow to claim, Worcester number to ring.

Recieved a call today from 01242695001 and as soon as I answered it, someone put
the phone down. If you call them they will always have their operatives busy
and will keep you hanging on forever. So, if you are calling them from a mobile
or land line, who knows what you maybe getting charged. I called BT and they were satisfied
it was a UK number but could not trace anything else.

got a call from this number today but nothing said.
