I was getting 6 calls a day from this number a year ago never answered them then one day I did couldnt understand a word this woman said, I told her I had bought my mobil number off eBay as a gold number, she hung up and for 11 months no more calls till 2 weeks ago back to 5 a day I answer them now and talk like (RAB, C, NESBIT) and don't let them get a word in, they hang up works every time.

I have been recieving constant calls from this number. I usually just hang up but now it's becoming a problem. They call me at school, work and it's becoming too much!  I asked for who they wanted and they said Darren Smith...that's not me!

After a while of persistant calls i tell the offender that next time they ring i will just swear at them.....and thats what i do! a very healthy way to get some of that angst out the system!

Had four phone calls from these [***] today alone and its only 10:30am every time i answer they hang up. I've only recently moved in and getting seriously annoyed now! STOP F*&KING RINGING ME!

is  there anything you can do to stop these phone number  if the harrasment is affecting your health

I don't know what they are trying to achieve by calling me.. My number is not linked to my name in any way, since it's only a phone with a top up card and not a contract.

my mum is 86yrs of age i dont live with her but these people constantly phone her asking for me what can i do to stop them stressing her.

Just got a phone call asking to speak to my son, the call took a long time as the woman spoke in bad English and I couldn't understand what she was saying and kept asking her to repeat herself. I told the caller that my son does not live here and is at university. I asked who I was speaking to and the nature of her call. She said her name was Candice and it was a business call. I told her that I would contact my son and inform him of her call and give him her number, which was 08442487984 when the call finished I checked on my phone what number she had called me from which was 01252576422 which I then googled. My son has a. D. H. D. and registered disabled, he gets extra help at uni regarding his studies. Due to his condition it has been recognised that he is unable to handle money. And is impulsive. My husband which was my son's father died when my son was aged 6 my son is now 22 and I am a pensioner so find this very distressing.

I'm not even in debt, well i am a student so i guess i am in debt to the government but that's not the kind of debt you sell to a debt collecting agency. 1st credit was harassing me, telling me i was in debt....i told them i'm not (because i'm genuinely not - wouldn't be a point in lying to you guys) and of course they wouldn't believe me....asked for my details, i refuse...obviously if they have bought a debt off a company they should know my details anyway?? Telefonica o2 uk is apparently who i did owe a debt too? Whatever the hell that is...presuming a simple o2 phone contract bill...never been on contract and my pay as you go was never with 02. So quite simply they have the wrong person and still won't leave me alone so clearly since i set all of 1st directs call numbers to auto-reject, they have got capquest to hound me, which of course has also gone on the autoreject list. I presume if they did think it was me i would get a letter through the post or maybe ring the home phone? Of course i wouldn't as they have no idea who i am, and it does piss me off that for some reason they decided that my mobile phone number belongs to whoever this debt really belongs to. It's a bit of a nasty cycle really as i know i'm not in debt, but they won't believe me....they want my details but i want give them as i said earlier they should know them, and i don't trust them..therefore they still don't believe me when i tell them i don't have any debt and the cycle repeats itself. I will get round to changing my number eventually, then they will have a dead end.  The only explanation i could come up with is A.someone decided to use my number to avoid their own debt or B.the number on my phone may have belonged to someone else.

Anyway i'm collecting texts from them they send now and again, so when i feel like reporting them for harassing me....and i still DON'T understand why they don't have your details in the first place, isn't that a bit flawed?

I got a call this morning at 9.40 am from this number, luckily I was already on the phone so couldn't answer it *phew*. I do not wish them to call me!

hi have you any information t help me if they call again it started weeks ago them texting and now ringing but i dont know how they got my landline number as its ex directory and i never give my landline to anyonejust my mobile number you cant understand them and they try and question my daughter which i think is bang out of order i don't know wot my rights are in this situation if you can help me with any advise i wud appreciate it tah

These people r an absolute JOKE! I'm in a repayment plan, yet they still call me 5 times a day, now I just ignore the calls, so they write to me, also to be ignored!   Its the only debt I have and I only owe about 100 on it, freakin idiots.

Would love to tell them what I think of em but best not, they r scary haha

Just had another call from then we no longer answer the landline due to them caller id says international call, 1471 always gives the capquest number.

I am registered with tps had enough now we have spoken to them never had a contact phone with Tmobile in fact husband still is pay-as-you go £5 lasts him 6 to 8 months still uses the old number that had to have a 7 put infront of the 8 to make mobile numbers one digit longer.

I have now formally written the request we are removed from this debt database also sending a copy to TPS.

for some reason this number keeps ringing me and im on course doing exams if not exams its work and she has almost got me flug out of an exam thing is am not in dept i wish she would stop blooming ringin me for crying out loud!!!!

I have had numerous missed calls from these people over the last 2 weeks, the job i do regularly sends me places where i cant recieve a signal, and in those weeks i have had 17 missed calls and 5 voicemails from them. Today at 9.13am they call again, so i answer and after gathering info from them discovered that they have bought a debt which is now 8 years old, i'm not sure if anything has changed, but i was of the belief debts were squashed after 6 years?

The lady on the line was absolutely clueless to the facts i laid down on her, like the fact that harrasment is illegal, as well as the threatening messages, and the downright ridiculous way they are trying to extort money from me for a debt that shouldn't even exist, this coupled with the fact that i originally refused to pay the debt due to the company (T Mobile) failing me in a big way, they had taken 3 month's money from my bank, and after sending them proof of their error refused to pay it back, because according to their system that money hadn't been taken, i told them they either pay it back or i stop paying altogether, and they still refused telling me they would look into it. The thing that annoyed me more was the fact that on random days through the week my line went dead, then after weeks of this happening i was cut off for nearly 2 weeks, and they refused to switch me back on because i cancelled the direct debit. after explaining all this i told the woman from capquest to politely f off and should they call again i have a whistle on standby ready to deafen them.

1 thing i have always known about, is my rights when it comes to these evil scum.

My advice to all who are getting harrased by any debt collectors is to google consumer action group and browse their site, it will work wonders for you, i used them to put and end to the harrasment i received from a nasty company called motormile finance or MMF UK, another vermin infested legal burglary company, and will be using them again to put an end to this horrible companies harrasment.

Remember, debt collectors aren't baillifs, even if they do try hard to convince you, a bailiff usually has a court warrant and is able to enforce that warrant, a debt collector has no such rights, and by law cannot turn up at your address without an appointment, should they arrive, they are commiting a tort of trespass and are acting illegally, call the police and have them removed, alternatively bash the [***] out of them and remove the trash yourself, remember everybody has the right to protect their property, should these clowns try to force entry or stick their foot in the door as you close it, don't feel 2 ways about breaking the scumbags foot.
