My boss just got stung!  From the previous comments it seems like some of their calls are just pot luck however they also seem to have details of recent accidents etc and therefore they sound convincing. Don't do it!!

Got a phone call from a lady who reckoned that I was due a PPI. Saw through the scam using this website, then hung up. I would like to know where they got my mobile number from. I have had a lot of dodgy calls such as this since taking out a store credit card from Comet.

I got the same call last wednesday! stupidly I feel for it, and even thou I called my bank withing the minute I hang up, they still manage to get the money from my account.

Thanks to this website I have now send a letter by recorded delivery to this address:

You do have 14 days to cancel any services that you are not happy with, but most importantly. PLEASE, PLEASE CALL THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE AS THEY ARE BEING INVESTIGATED, Their phone number is: 02033343555, you need to choose the claims regulator option and then explain what happened to you, they were very happy to have received my call.

got this call today, they hung up so i phoned bk and they asked for my adress, i gave them it but no bank details hope they dnt come and get me.

just had the missed call... is there somewhere these people can be reported to. its a landline number so it must be traceable?!?!?

ive just had this call and reported in online on the watchdog website to try and save other people getting the same treatment. If possible if we all send these details to watchdog I am sure they will broadcast it and hopefully this will help stop them.

Got a call from these [***] yesterday.was in a hurry so stupidly gave them my card details and address.Luckly ive since contacted the bank and had that card deleted so looks like they wont be scamming me.
Worried now as i called back and wondering if its a high call rate number.

Hung up when I answered. I guess I won't be calling them back!

Didn't even hear it ring but tried to call back before i saw this site and i was on hold for ages. Not wasting my money on them! Wonder if anyone's reported this to the police.

Seems unfortunatly the money has been taken from my account and am now follow procedures into reclaiming it.

had to cancel my card as i have fell for this scam a few hours ago

Just got a missed call from them but didnt know the area code so googled it so show a blackpool number as i dont know anyone from there i typed in rest of the number and found this! good thing I did! wont be calling them back!

Same situation...they called and said I'd either paid to much insurance on either credit card, home, phone or health none of which I have :s so how did I over pay £59.99?!? Cheating [***]!! Glad I decided to google them now!!

called me this morning at 11:04 am. didn't hear it ring, just missed call notification. thought it might be about a job so googled the area ode (01253) and came up with blackpool. by chance, i googled the entire number and found this forum!

had a missed call from a private number yesterday, that must have been their 'dialer' fihing for numbers...

I also got a call today, on orange.  some guy asked for my details i told him where to go and hung up.  thieves.

Id like to add too that im on Orange,Ive been speaking to the person in charge of this case at the ministry of justice and will inform her of this.
I will also be sending a letter to the company today asking for my money to be refunded based on instructions ive been given.
Please note if anyone has been scammed by these people please contact the ministry of justice as they are building a case against them.

Hi guys i didnt fall for this but both me and a guy from work had the same call.  I've only ever put my number into one thing and it was the argos website.. the guy from work says he's the same.  I dont suppose any of you have shopped argos recently?

I had a missed call from this number and because I didn't recognise it I immediately googled it and found out that this was a scam.  Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who reported this on the net.
