Call to my mobile, checked the number on here first and didn't reply. Why won't anyone do anything about these callers?

Con or what - Please steer clear.

£60 down and feel such a fool.....

Called Lloyds bank but payment already pending, very doubtful in getting dosh back.
They totally convinced me that they were actually calling me from my own back but through the legal department - caught me at a really bad time, I should have twigged the moment they asked for the rest of my card number!!
They even have the cheek to put you on hold for about 5 mins whilst they take the money from your account by telling you that you need to speak with somebody else to finalise the process.

Any advice would be welcome - as anyone been credited back through LLoyds TSB?

Hi Lisa, the same happened to me and I am with Lloyds TSB. At first they said they couldn't do anything because I had given my card details out.. then when I mentioned they actually had the first 4 digits of my card they have now reversed the charge and by law has to give them 30 days to pay it back... if they dont, then the investigations will start by Lloyds TSB. I think its a lengthy process but hope to eventually get my money back.....I have a week till the 30 day period will be over..will keep you posted!

The same happended just now, interesting that the uatomated message does not say who they are also that you have to push the person to reveal who they are once you are put through.

Jail them all!

Just got a missed call.  Would love them to call back, I'll give them a hard time :)

it was me that took ur money 2day lisa!!get a lot of commision on each sale,i just wanted 2 say thanks alot hun ill be spendin it in the pub 2morro!!!and no u wont be gettin it back,well nobody does,ill have a few drinks on you!!!

I've just had a missed call from this number too. Surely the sort of thing they're doing has to be illegal?

The police are aware of this incident as I had a call yesterday from these people, they had all my details and then asked for credit card details (Muppets) the police are tracking them down

They called me yesterday afternoon and I was too busy to talk to them. They called again today and tried to explain the same (crap) story again and tried once more to get my card details. Luckily I refused and they are going to call me again next week.

I am SO glad I read this now! Could so easily have been £60 out of pocket.

Just received a call from this number on my Orange mobile - don't even answer unrecognised numbers!

This happened to my nanna today and silly her gave her details had her card cancelled as it hadnt yet gone out of the account it was pending so hopefully they didnt get my nans money. [***] robbing old people! i just rang that number and gave a false name she asked 4 my number i said you rang me so why hasnt it come up they hung up

I have just received a call from this number too, but as I answered they hung up. Lucky them...I was ready to give them a piece of my mind.

Just had a call from this number but as the previous entry they hung up as I answered!
