i too got a call today from this number and am also on orange, something wrong maybe here

Got a call today from this number same mo, I have informed the police who say although it is a blackpool number they suspect the calls are coming from another country. The policeman suggested that I look at the following site CIFAS.org.uk apparently it can safeguard you from identity theft ect worth looking at. Unfortunatly it looks like they can not help by shutting this number down, they will just operate on another number. Thankfully my husband did not give them any information

Missed call.. called it back told me I can claim miss sold PPI on mobile phone.. told them never even had it in first place!

This number just called me and when I answered they hung up !!!! wont be answering it again. Also an orange user.

missed a call today and when I called back was told that I was due a refund against credit insurance as it had been outlawed by the government. All would be repayed plus 8% and apart from my address name etc all they needed was a credit card number and the magic numbers.When I refused and told them that I did not trust them the "lady" was not in the least bit indignant.
PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THESE SCAMMERS ANY INFORMATION AND IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE THEY OPERATE PLEASE PUT SOMETHING SMELLY THROUGH THE LETTERBOX.

I just had a similar call too. I called up orange customer services and it would appear they're not aware of it - I'd say everyone PLEASE call orange too to make them aware of the problem.
I called them back and said I'd reported the incident and that "you [***] aren't going to steal my money so bloody well [***] and die, you [***]." might have been a little immature and definitely very vulgar of me but call them up and shout at them - it'll make you feel better :D

Had a call on friday morning on my mobile telling me i was due a refund due to being miss-sold credit card protection which i could not remember ever having bought?...The woman asked me for some details from my credit or debit card which i said i did not have to hand.She said she would ring me back monday.I have just rang the Halifax Bank and they told me it is a scam the number she rang from was 01253750929.

Received 3 or 4 calls from this no. today. They wanted my debit card details to repay me just under £1000 I'd overpaid in card protection insurance over the last 8 years ! As far as I'm aware I've paid no more than £25
I refused to give them the info'. until they provided me all details in writing.
No further calls !
They operate under 4 different Company names from 15, FY13DT

My husband had a missed call on his works Orange phone yesterday from these people, when he phoned back they claimed they had a refund for him, he gave postcode and house number but fortunatly he didn't know bank details so was told they would ring him back later, I rang them this morning to see who they were as I thought them 'dodgy' as my son had had a similar call a few weeks back (T-Mobile), they told me they were a payment protecton refund company, I made out I had a wrong number and hung up, looks like my suspicions were right.

This address is used for simler Scams.

Got a phone call from them yesterday saying they were government funded and that I had been mis sold ppi.  They asked for my card details to refund the money to.  I didn't give them it and they told me that surely I would be better off paying them £59.99 to reclaim the £500 I was due.  Then they hung up!

Missed call from 01253-750929 today.

Please make sure you report them to Trading Standards 08454 040506.  This enables them to track the volume of complaints and take action.

They are obviously still in business.  I received a call today and tried to phone them back.  A lady started to speak and then just hung up on me.  BEWARE!!

They just called me - they couldn't be bothered to say anything - guess they want people to ring them back.

Had the same missed called this morning, glad I googled the number.  If you see the number as an incoming call, cut the call dead.
