Same again - just had a missed call from the same 01253 750929 number. Put the number into google to see if I could work out if it was someone I recognised and wanted to call back - needless to say I won't be bothering.

Got a call from 01253750929 today, thought it was odd, so checked the internet to see what business it was.  Found this site, so I won't be calling back.  Thanks chaps

just had a phone call from these [***]! trying to steal my money saying i have loan insurance, they then hung up.

Had a missed call from these clowns half an hour ago. I have now entered the number into my mobile as "Warning Scam".

Next time they ring I will play with them. I'll pretend not to understand, then I'll get all excited when I realise they will send me £60. Then I will pretend to hunt for my missing bank cards. Whilst I am doing this, I will repeatedly apoligise for keeping them on hold. I'm sure they will eventually hang up. But it will also waste 5-10 minutes of their scamming time.

Fell for it here. Phoned number back up to speak to legal team a few times, as soon as i mentioned trading standards of police they hang up. Have written a letter to them asking to cancel any contract with them and to refund the money. Bank cant do anything until the money leaves the bank.

Got a missed call, phoned back and asked who it was and if I was being charged for the call. She said "No, shall we call you back?" I said "Yes" and hung up. They didn't call back, then I googled and got here. Now saved on phone as "Conmen don't answer."

Ive just just missed a call from this number so i googled it to check who it was! Im not ringing it back, scumbags.

I got a call from these idiots, be veryyyyyyyy careful as they seem to have matching info to myself and stupidly I did disclose my bank details and the did take £59.99 out of my bank.I have reported it to my bank as I had an uneasy feeling about it. DO NO FALL FOR IT!!, I have reported it to the Office of Trading Standards and the Ministry of Justice!!! They are tailing them. But just for the records I am also on orange?!

Got done for 60 pounds sounded very genuine ..caught me on the hop.Contacted fraud squad straight away & was told even though payment was pending it could not be stopped.On heking my statement Today payment is no longer pending & has not been taken out my account....they still scumbags

i got a call after (next day) a credit search i did on myself through a cashback site and then equifax...but i also bought an orange phone 3-4 weeks ago pay as you go..... anyone else have a connection with this call and credit reference check (done by yourself) or a cashback site?

Just had a call from this number but it cut off as soon as I answered.  Rang it back, had a message telling me to hold, someone would be with me shortly but I cut it off in case it was a premium rate number.  I did a search for the number and found this site, thanks for the warning.

Had a call from 01253 750929 today, didn't recognise number so didn't pick it up. Won't be calling them back either as appears many others are approached and asked to divulge financial and personal details to the caller.

Got call from this number said I was entitled to a refund of £1k on insurance on my mortgage which I never had, I asked for more details and said send a cheque then they hung up surprise surprise, litle pricks

I received the call from this number too but lucky i wasn't anwered it.

Found numerous sites saying all the same things as on here just by chance i typed the number into google.

on another site they are making the connection to car phone warehouse which is where me, my partner and many others who have had these calls bought their phone from.

my partner and i both got missed calls on the same day from the number.

DO NOT GIVE THESE TOSSERS YOUR DETAILS.


they claim it is legal to debit the 60 quid from your account because that is to cover the cost of the self help book on how to get a refund that they send you.........

Recd this call today at 10.53am, missed the call so called back from work was put on hold then some girl answered and just said 'Hello'. I thought this was strange as what sort of company answers the phone by saying hello....!?
I seem to remember getting a few calls from this number last year but again always missed it.
I will now be saving this number in my phone and not answering again.
What scum!!!
