Had them call me just now, guy said they randomly generate the numbers, I told him I didn't want him to find out about whatever payments he was talking about.

Just got the number they called me on a week ago as a replacement sim card, bloody annoying.

I received a call on my Mobile from this number 01253 750929 and Bret said he was from PPI and was told I was due a rebate from Ileagally sold Credit Card insurance, he asked me for my bank details which I refused. So they could take ouy just under £60.00p, I would get this back later.

Just had a call from this number saying there had been a big court case and they were refunding money from a payment protection plan that had been mis sold to me. When I questioned her, mainly as I could not hear due to the background noise she said she'd call me later...I was quite suspicious and look what I found here. Thanks guys....I thought surely you'd get something in writing...

Yes, missed call, then googled it. I'm on Orange and I am reporting them to the Police and Trading Standards.

I also had a missed call from these idiots! I'm on Orange aswell, arnt T-Mobile and Orange partners? They must be getting our numbers from their database or something!

I never answer numbers I don't recognize, which saved my ass in this case.  I googled the number and found various sites like this one, all of which say they are scammers.

I also googled "Telesales People Ltd" and found another address in Stroud, Glos.  Fortunately, I live 14 miles from Stroud and will be there this weekend.  I'll check out the address and let you know.

sent a letter via registerd post last week.Still no news or money repayed into my account.However they have up to 30 days to send me details.If they fail to do this then the bank will go into proceedings to refund my money.
As they have failed to contact me i will now be send a second letter requesting a copy of the transcripts which under the data protections act they must supply me!

I got a call from these people today saying I was due a refund on the payment protection insurance on my mortgage - apart from the fact I dont have this insurance I quizzed them at great length on this, they then asked for expiry date at which point I refused, and then without asking I then got put through to a "supervisor" who when I quizzed her, hung up on me.  Please people, report this scam at http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/watch_out/report/ so we can stop this.  

I called them back saying I know they are scamming and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Missed a call at 12.15 today , so pleased I missed it. I am also with T-Mobile.

Just got a call from them - confirmed my surname (grr damn stupid) but when they asked for my postcode, I asked they confirm the first two letters and she hung up.

Can't believe [***] like this haven't been shut down already.

Yer just got conned out of £59.99 don't think I stand a just of getting it back they should be sh-t the bas---ds. I thought they were putting money back onto the card, caught me at work didn't pay enough attention to what they were saying otherwise I would have realised you can't put money back with that number on the card...(stupid idiot)

The scummers have just tried to call me. Luckily I didn't answer it and typed the number into google and found this page. The jokes on them.

Just received a call from this number. They said I had overpaid credit card insurance and they would refund the money (£1000, to good to be possible actually) to my current account and that they would send legal documents to my address, but that they needed my current account number to make the refund. I didn't give my details and they transfer me to another person, kind of 'legal adviser' telling me stupid legal stuff. I called my credit card and check on internet to make sure that this was actually a scam.
This is getting more and more sophisticated, BE CAREFUL!

Yup! they called me during training this morning. Typed their number into google on my gold-plated iPad & found this page. And here I am.
