Obviously no one has the power to shut them down because all of the consumers who have had issues with them till not have obviously spoken to the MOJ or trading standards and nothing has happened. They are like Mr Nice said "Invincible & un-touchable" and that is the annoying thing about it.

I didnt fall for their telephone patter but to the people who did I am sorry to say I think it is un-liekely you will get a refund I have heard a lot about companies and they are all aggresive money making machines.

Most of the people on here will not, unfortunately, have contacted the MOJ or trading Standards before they were scammed, although I understand that the MOJ are looking at AIMS and its sister company. The authorities always need a certain number of complaints before they act, so let's hope enough people continue to make complaints to them.

    Useful Information
    ***************************************PLEASE READ THIS!!!!!!***********************************************

    The membership fee...

The conditions of a refund are if you are not made financially better off at the end of the 12 months you can receive a refund.

If you receive your PPI payout or if they save you money on your utilities, pension, other insurances then you will not be eligable for a refund.

If you DENY having a quote for any of the offered services you will still not be able to get a refund because you have declined help and they will keep your money!

The best possible way is to turn up at their office in Urb. Andasol, El Rosario Urb, Marbella, 29604.

They have a nice brand new office that you can meet them in which even has a bar in it, which just goes to show how much money they are on let alone the fact that they are still recruiting regually to back their aggressive sales model.

The local paper SUR in English is a paper they usually advertise in for local staff.

The whole operation is run from the Marbella office and the admin side of things is run from Blackburn so that when documents are sent they have the U.K stamp on there, the phone numbers provided are all on divert to the Marbella office.

If you ever get a chance pop down to their office its about a 30 minute drive from Malaga airport, I can assure you it is an interesting visit.

But therein lies the rub. The Spanish payments processing operation isn't vulnerable. Spain is worse than the UK in corporate governance and compliance. Hence all the boiler room scam set-ups. However, the Aims UK listed companies and assets are vulnerable because they can be investigated and wound up by the Insolvency Service and the directors disqualified and even banged up. No UK base, no MoJ licence, no credibility, no business. That's why there are so many Aims stooges pointing to Spain shouting "ignore the UK, it's all in Malaga Spain! ". Report each breach and grievance with hard-data to the MoJ and Insolvency Service and www.actionfraud.police.uk

You deserve to loose it. Thick as mutton even taking a cold call let alone handing over your card details.

If you were thick enough to do that I expect you're too thick to know how to complain so put it down to experience and never speak to a cold caller again. A genuine non-criminal company will simply write.

How strange that two posts, supposedly from the same person should be so different.  The first one gave useful information. but the second one was as rude and abusive as we have come to expect from AIMS stooges.  Difficult to believe that they are from the same person, isn't it.  Probably because they are not.

Bullying and ignorance are the last refuge of the incompetent. Nan you are completely spot on as ever. My contacts at the COLP, HMRC and MOJ keep saying to me imagine how long it will take to get a solid enough case to prosecute criminals then double it - that's how long it takes to make sure the evidence is solid enough to withstand defence in the courts. I have every faith in what I have been told by authorities and look forward to Adam Bennett, Tony Bennett, Tom Edwardson (Jnr), Tom Edwardson (Snr) , Michael Salter (ex MRI) and Susan Chambers (ex MRI) along with their cronies being banged up for a long time.

Like I keep saying to everyone MAKE A DIFFERENCE and report their activities to The City of London Police, Action Fraud, HMRC, Trading Standards, Insolvency Service and the Ministry of Justice, and dont give in to bullies.

Good idea AIMS are basically a boiler room style scam and have lots of assets in the UK to confiscate even if the payments are routed through Spain
