I received a text as others have and asked to contact them, I rang and they wanted my reference and details I said stop texting or I will report them to the police for harassing me as I have no debt, they we will keep contacting me and wouldn't tell me why so I blocked the number, this is a total scam, BEWARE

Had a call to my wife's phone saying "to contact c.a.r.s as a matter of urgency" i have a disabled son so immediately started to panic, glad i checked this out on internet first. They need stopping soon!. Absolute idiots to say the least

I received a txt message and for me to call this no. Quoting a reference no. I ignored the txt, but Sam from the company C.A.R.S had the audacity to call me. He advised me a mutual client had requested he call and when i asked him who this was, he couldn't tell me. He could try to ask where I live though!! I politely told him to do one😡😡

I never call companies or people I don’t know before checking them out. I know I don’t have any outstanding debts etc.
What a waste of my time! The good thing is l am happy to write this review as it may help someone avoid these scams like it has helped me.

So glad I checked this number out before calling. Like so many others, i recieved a texf message asking me to call them.
I'll be ignoring like the others.

Received a text from C.A.R.S. this morning, asking for me to call them quoting ref number *******, I don't usually check out companies before calling but glad I did. Sounds like a nice scam. Not.

Received a text message today at (28 Dec 2017) 15:15 "Could Mr Danel ********* please contact CARS on 01256 306797 Quoting Ref No 9794967 Thank you" then came online to check them out. Could only find one forum thread for C.A.R.S. when searching Google with the term "C.A.R.S. text message" so then searched for the phone number and ended up here.
When attempting to call the sender (not the number in the message, but the originator number" it dials 22 77 and goes to a 'dead number tone'

Got a text from this number today asking me to contact cars on this number Didnt Bother but thought people might want to know

Today (15th Jan 2018),  I received a text from this number... 01256 306797. C.A.R.S. The txt asks me to phone them and to quote a reference no'.  After looking on here, no way am I phoning them. I am debt free, never had a gym membership in my life, nor do I own a car.  Must be a scam!

I have a message fromCARS asking for a Mr Thomas Balog  to contact them quoting ref 9902935, and on subsequent messages it's the same with one number different each time , I have no idea who this person is and am glad I saw this site I have now blocked their number

Have just had text asking me to call C.A.R.S urgently but knew nothing about who they are - glad I decided to Google the number and found this thread - can’t tell from posts if it is an out and out scam or they’re buying up other companies debts? I have some debts but all under control as far as I know!!
