This number called me and stopped before I got there.  After reading the threads below I called unique prospects on 0845 459 0253 and was told they cannot take messages from incoming calls - they are a call centre phoning out.  Wow Never would have guessed that!  Funny though because their website gives this number as the one to contact them on!  Anyway I've sent them an email telling them.... and to remove my details.

Mr Unique Prospects, This is complete and utter rubbish. You stated on Apr 11 "regarding the obvious mis-use of the data that we previously supplied by Redress claims"

I only supplied my details to PPI Adviceline on the 21st of THIS MONTH and been called by Redress TWICE.

This is STILL ONGOING and you are STILL selling customer details on.

Hopefully you will get dragged into the Murdoch/Met Police/ etc. scandal of selling on customers' details and spend your time regretting this in prison.

When I picked the receiver up it was playing classicl music  Then someone said that their next representative would be with me when they were free. I could not clear the line for several minutes

I've had a call from this number today (01274 663293). They said they were from "Money made simple", a company with 30,000 customers, apparently. I couldn't find this company on the internet although he said they were very successful. This "company" apparently helps you deal with overdrafts. I told him I had none and he said goodbye and hung up. I'd like to know where he got my number from!

keep answering the phone to this number and getting nothing but the dialing tone - it's very annoying !!

Said is that Mrs ,,,,, Asked me how I was today, I said fine the person laughed and then put the phone down and yes I am registered with the TPS Service as well

A woman rang this morning, I couldn't remember the name of the company she quoted as she spoke so quickly. She said it wasn't a marketing call. I interjected and said if it was about PPI I wasn't interested, she then said "Can you let me speak please", which I thought was extremely rude and got my back up further. She said it wasn't about PPI and said if I'd had a loan, credit card or mortgage she could help get money back because of a change in the law. At this point I asked her to please remove our number from their marketing list. She said it wasn't a marketing list and then hung up on me.

I keep getting calls from 01274663293 and someone else keeps calling asking for Margret on a with held number! Only just moved in grrrrrr!!!

Hey guys, do what I did, get an answer phone. If anyone important calls they will leave a message for you to get back to them. These nuisance numbers just give up. If you have an answer machine you don't need to pick up the phone and listen to their rubbish, they never leave messages either. I'd have my answer phone; if someone wants to speak to me they will say who they are on the message receiver. If I want to speak to them I pick the phone up, if not I ignore it, but you will never have to answer your phone to call centres again. Best piece of kit I ever bought.

I received a call from this number and the line was dead so I hung up.  Then I dialled 1471 to see who it was.  An automated American voice immediately answered (not the usual BT woman!) and said hold the line (without me choosing the dial back option!) and it promptly went to some classical music.  Each time I hung up they were still hogging my line!  I even tried to dial out to other numbers and I could not because it was as it it had hacked into my line and was keeping me permanently connected to whoever they were!  I had to pull the socket out the wall to get rid of them.  After that 1471 worked and confirmed it was this number.  I'm too scared to dial it again in case it connects me and I can't get rid of them again!

Just had ANOTHER call from this damn company, this time blocking ym line with classical music and an american sounding voice telling me my call is important to them. Erm, they called me?
Reported to TPS yet again. This is getting beyond a bloody joke now.

Got yet another call from this company and informed them I'm registered with TPS. Guy continued with his spiel. Told him if he didn't hang up that I would. Have blocked his number, but I was under the impression TPS would make a difference.

Yep I am an employee for redress. Ever since I joined it's a dodgy company run by Asians and there ate a few minority whites in there (somewhere). Apart from being stereotypical redress claims have scammed many customers and charged many upfront fees for UCA Claims. Guess What I complained!!!!!

Secondly the data they use is the same data but on different days.

Complain to ofcom and oft.

Money made simple, ppi advice are redress themselves work under one roof and cold call people.

Just got a call, was slient for the first few seconds then the musak began, in the 2 minutes before i hung up i heard the standard your call is important to us all our operators are busy at the moment but will get to you as soon as we can.

they just should not call if they dont even have someone to talk to you!

Just got call from this no. Let it ring so didn't answer it. Am registered with CPR Global Ltd. but still get unwanted phone calls.Where do these people get my telephone no. from?

Doesn't ring long enough for the answer machine to pick it up.
