Had 2 calls from this number to my mobile this afternoon...ignored both calls. Can you register mobile numbers for TPS?

Just had a call from this number. Caller asked for me by name, I neither confirmed nor denied my name but asked who they were. The lady caller then identified the company and asked would I be interested in a quote. I said "No". Caller thanked me for my time and hung up, unusually polite for a cold caller.

We've recently started getting calls from these people. I was interested to read the earlier posts as it shows that they have changed their name several times over the months this has been going on. They are now calling themselves Coverplus and saying that our home insurance is due for renewal. I don't know what they hope to achieve - they must think we're thick! We are a TPS number as well and I will be making a complaint.

Phone call in regards insurance by someone with very broken English.  I am with TPS and still get these god damn calls.

Received two calls in two days!!! Belong to TPS let the man waffle said no 3 times(trying to get me to change my insurances) was very rude and I hung up after the 4th No....Go away!!!! If the owner of this number is looking...take me off your list...or give me details who to e-mail!!!

I keep getting calls from this number,   when I phone it back i get the number you  dial is not recognised.

just got a call from this number asking for my husband i told them he wasn't home and when i asked who was calling they hung up, i then rang 1471 to get the number of who called and to call them back and have a few choice words with them about being rude and just got a disused tone when i called the number. not happy and i don't like it.

Well, This company is busy getting up other peoples noses. Well if people want to claim, they will call you. Dont inflict this on others who do not want to waste their time talking to cold call companies who have nothing better to do with their day than wake people up who have been on nightshift and try to force their claim crap on you.
Talking of which, what are the telephone preference service for? why are we registered with it? why is this service there in the first place when they clearly are not going to back any of their clients up?
What a waste of time regestering, or are they selling on our data?

It seems that this number has belonged to different companies over the years ... a year ago it seems it came from a company called Redress, about PPI claims. Now some of us are saying they are insurance.
Who ever they are - They are annoying me!!
They obviously get around the Marketing Calls thing by using a normal landline number?
Didnt speak to them - but my son said it was a Scottish voice asking for me.

i am signed up to 2 telephone preference services, yet still this number calls me.. when i ring back, there is just a dialling tone. very annoying...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

My mam has received a call from this number, an automated machine said please hold.
She hung up and went to make a call and the call was still live!!
This went on for over an hour!!
She cud not make an outgoing call due to this company!!

this number comes up every day Im fed up someone should try and stop this calls

I've had on hold music now for 50 minutes. they have a very persistant on hold queue...

This number rang me and I couldnt answer - tried to call back and number incorrect

They have just called me again and claim to be PPI Adviceline but when I said I didnt have any loans etc they then offered to look at home insurance for me!

Keep getting 01274 663293 calling. Tried to call back at first to see who it was but number wasn't connecting for some reason - seems odd if calls being made from it.

53 phone calls in a week going to sue will not remove my number

i keep getting this as well, i think it is time to get truecall, has any one tried it, the review doe seam very good and stop call right away.

I have been getting these annoying calls, and wondered how they could have gotten my number as its ex dir (which seems to mean nothing these days) the only explanation I can come up with is my bank, a law firm I recently used or my insurance company have sold my details to these scummy companies thereby making money out of me without my prior knowledge or permission again!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are probably using random diallers so e-directory doesn't work.  If you are registered with TPS report them.
