- Jeanette PopeIs this a scam call or one which is legal and wishes to contact me?
- Caller: Can you tell me? Thank you.
- Andy Pandy| 1 replyI received a call from this number tonight at 17.53 no one spoke and eventually I got a message saying "Your call is important to us and we will put you through to an adviser as soon as one becomes available" and played classical music. I put the phone down and when I tried to dial 1471 to see who it was I was still connected so my line was blocked, there was no way I could disconnect the call. My line eventually came clear at 18.20, I was furious as it meant no one could contact me on my land line and at a time when I have got a very ill father-in-law
- Caller: No known never got to speak to anyone
- MarkI got a call from this number today and answered it, I was told that according to her information my house insurance was due for renewal, which is untrue. I was then asked if I paid it monthly, and when I said yes, was told that I could change my insurance to a different company now because it is illegal to charge monthly payments for house insurance! When I said that my insurance contract stipulated that if I cancelled mid term I would have to pay the balance immediately the female caller changed tactics and asked whether I had ever bought PPI and when I said no she just hung up.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Peed OffHad a call from this number @ 12.20 today it rang for about 5 seconds but stopped before I could answer it. Like all of you am fed up with calls from this number and other like it including International and withheld numbers during the day and evenings and weekends, as a night worker this is getting me down, I would like to unplug the phone but then I cant be cointacted by family in the event of an emergency as my mobile often cannot get a signal. I am registered with TPS and have been for years, but it dont seem to help, as the register is obviously being ignored by some ignorant companies...............
- puffI am a member of the consumer group legal beagles and there have been a lot of complaints about this group.

- Daliarw| 1 replyIve had a call today from 01274663293, when I answered they hung up. Called back and phne cut off after a few rings. I looked at this site, and somebody had stated that this No was linked to Unique Prospects, so I contacted them via email. within minutes I had a telephone call from I have also had um from Mr Mark Turnbull who is the Director and he stated that they do not supply data to Redress and that they are lying when they give out that information. He appologised for the phone calls we are getting from Redress and has advised that we complain to The Ministry of Justice and the Iinformation Comissioners Office in the hope they can stop them trading. He himself is being plagued with telephone calls both to his business no and to his home no, so please report the No to Who Calls Me
Regards - Stephen Kirkby replies to DaliarwGot one to-day at 12.42, "From our records......house insurance due" etc.............The guy never finished the message as he seemed to be attempting to restrain a laugh but was overcome and had to terminate the call. Initally I thought that this was a wind up but had a look here just to be sure. So not only could this outfit be considered to be a nuiscance they are also unprofessional nuiscances.
- EBP| 1 replyReceived a call yesterday - lunch time- asked us to holdon till they had an operator free to speak to us. We put the phone down but they remained connected to our number for over 45 minutes and we were not able to disocnnect from the call or use our phone.

- tele stop replies to EBPHave been receiving calls in marketing, music and crank calls for weeks now - all seem to link to Redress Claims/PPI Helpline/many other names etc which seem to be same people. Found this forum site - please folks read all the replys here as this seems to be a circular and recurring issue. Redress Claims is not using up tp date information from Unique Prospects as is stated by some on this site - this is wrong, I talked to one of the Directors of Unique Prospects today who is trying to address the problem with Redress Claims - as Redress is breaking the law. He stated that Unique Prospects do not supply data to Redress and that Redress Claims are lying when they give out that information. He appologised for the phone calls we are getting from Redress and has advised that we complain to The Ministry of Justice and the Innformation Comissioners Office in the hope they can stop them trading. Meanwhile is is still trying to take them to court.
- BobcatDidn't answer left to go to answer machine...and guess what they didn't leave a message!
- NickyI keep getting either silent calls or a recorded voice telling me to hold. It didn't say what company it was and the recorded voice makes it more annoying because i can't actually shout at them and and tell them to go away.
- Caller: unknown
- Nicky replies to Andy PandySame here but the number was 012746623293.
- Nicky replies to jammy dodgerSame here it's sooo anoying !
- IanRang. Tried calling back but number not recognised.
- popeyeHaving read some of the posts about these D Heads I notice over a year ago blame being passed around.
Company A says it is Company B that is still using the details that they were asked to stop using.
Company B says it is Company A that is still using the details that they were asked to stop using.
As to BT preference system stopping these cold calls.
Not in BT's interest to stop these calls, can't lose revenue can they.
I subscribed to TPS after I got fed up with 5 or 6 cold calls a week, bloody anoying if your working under a vehicle.
Since subscribing to TPS I now get at least one an hour.
Even with an answerphone you still get the brain dead saying hello hello hello hello after the tone. - JASStarted a spiel about survey of energy companies... obviously wanted to know who I am with, but dumped them at that point. So don't know whether they are operating on behalf of an energy company or are trying to get sensitive financial information for fraud.
They ring often even though I am on the Telephone Preference Service- Caller: Unknown
- Call type: Survey
- TSmSaid they were 'coverplus'. I thought he said colour plus and he got annoyed. Cheek!

To all concerned.
I am one of the owners of Unique Prospects and i am very sorry for the calls that you have been receiving.
We are as upset by this as you as we have got nothing to do with the calls that you are getting.
We have supplied data to Redress claims in the past and it would appear that they have neglected to TPS or verify the data since it was originally supplied back in October 2010.
This has only just come to our attention and we are doing everything possible to stop the calls that you have been receiving.
We are also seeking legal advice regarding the obvious mis-use of the data that we previously supplied by Redress claims.
Once again i sincerely apologise for the inconvenience that this has caused and we will take all steps necessary to ensure that this is stopped immediately.

I am one of the managers at Redress Claims Managers and am very apologetic to hear of all the calls that you have been receiving.
I would like to make it clear as Mark has confirmed that we have not bought nor used data supplied by Unique Prospects since November 2010. We use a number of data suppliers and as confirmed by Mark we have not bought data from Unique Prospects this year.
I would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience cause and will investigate this matter. Should any of you receive calls from Redress Claims which you would like to be stopped please contact our Customer Service team on 0844 8246676, Monday to Friday between 9.30 am to 5.30 pm, or for any further enquiries. We will endeaveour to deal with all complaints in a swift and diligent manner. - Jon| 1 replyWell over an hour my phone line was tied up with these idiots, every 30 seconds saying that someone will be on the line shortly. I have tried to contact Redress Claims on 0844 8246676 but it says about hi demand and to email them.
I have completed ofcom complaint and phoned Unique Prospects to get removed from any lists.
I have just had Mr M.Turnbull proprietor of Unique Prospects phone me back. He was very apologetic and explained that they are getting all the flak for Redress Claims when they have had nothing to do with them for a couple of years.
Anyway he was very accomodating. he gave me the contact details of who to contact at the telephone preference service, Information commision and Ministry of Justice.
I can only say that I am grateful for his phoning, it is appreciated. - there at it again!!!had calls like this in the past but now they have started again
this time my phone line gets tied up with really bad on hold music saying an adviser will be with me soon, I have not asked for them to call or need them to call as i have know idea who the hell they are but I suggest that they need more staff if they can't actually handle the poxy calls they are making in the first place.
rant over!
