You can complain online if you are with the TPS but you have to have all the details. ie Address, person you spoke too and time of call. TPS dont always follow up complaints. Im thinking of getting rid of my phone and just using my mobile, at least you can turn that off at night. If everyone threatened their provider with getting rid of their land line and phone the companies would have to do something to stop these calls.

Called today saying my home insurance due for renewal.  It isn't.  Said I wasn't interested and hung up.  Have had almost daily calls from this number but first time I had got to phone on time.

I've had two calls from this number.  The first was to my answering machine but the second I answered myself.  Asked why I couldn't return the call and the lady on the other end couldn't explain.  She said she was telephoning on behalf of CoverPlus Insurance, asking when my house insurance was due for renewal.  Looked at their website, which shows they are in Ilford and Brentwood in Essex.  01274 is Bradford.  Looks like out-sourcing to me.

I ask whose calling.....be it international numbers or other.....then say ..."South Yorkshire police....Internet fraud department".........beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.....hardly get any now .....play them at their own game ......just lay the phone down for 5 mins ,then say "I'm terribly sorry the master must be in the other wing of the house......one moment".....then off you go to put the kettle on.....!!!!!!.......then hang up.Do anything just to annoy em'.....it's great fun at their expense.

I am sick of all these companies(if they like to call themselves that) phoning me.  I have TPS, caller id, I should not have to pay for caller id just because of these callers and then if a message is left on my phone and it is someone who I know I then have to pay for the cost of calling them back. The people in this country should not be scared of answering their phones, cos of this.

If I wish to use the services of a company I as a customer would make the enquiring call rather than be pestered with cold callers.

I received a call from this number today and it wouldn't let me disconnect the call, In the end after 20 mins i had to unplug my telephone....I left it 10 mins and tried to call the number back and it disconnects....Not happy!!!!!!!

I get these daily too.  The irritating thing is that there is never anyone there.  And I am registered with BT caller preferences

I just received 1 a few mins a go and have been getting loads from them at the mo :(

I do like the fraud department response, shall have to remember it. Best one I used on a tele-sales was to ask them to tell me in 5 words what it was that they are trying to sell me

i too recieved a call from mr mark turnbull and he explained that he has not passeed data to redress for a number of years  2010 was last time i believe, but it concerns me tat a company called phruit phil.lightfoot@phruit.co.uk <phil.lightfoot@phruit.co.uk> may be the culpritsbased on the calls i receive and the fact that phruit had been suspended by the dma commision......calls from a phillipino call centre claiming to be market researchers...so contact this man and see if he likes nuicance emails

I am getting very annoyed with people from this number disturbing me and when I answeer the phone the line is dead

we didn't recognise the number so we rang the number back & it doesn't accept incoming calls,then i looked on here & saw this forum on the number,thanks ppls

Receiving calls from 01274663293 and when I pick the phone up, no one speaks and I just get the dial tone after a few seconds.  Must be either someone whose life is extremely boring or a automated system randomly dialing numbers and not connecting to the message they intend to leave. Waste of everybody's time and very frustrating.

I note the comments relating to this number dating back 12 months. Despite the comments and assurances from Redres Claims and Unique Prospects I am receiving calls from this number. I have beebn registerd with TPS for at least 10 years. I advise anyone who receivees these nuiosance calls to report to   the ICO

this number 01274 663293 is seriously starting to do my head in, everytime I go to answer there is no one there, either use real people and not an automated dialler, or quit phoning people! especially ones that work from home and have to listen to your constant ringing.

Reassurances or not from managers or who ever in this company..you have now been reported to everywhere I could find regarding nuisance persistant callers.

I am with TPS. Had call from 01274663293 about mis sold PPI. Did not read all the posts in this forum and assumed it was fault of Unique Prospects. I contacted Unique Prospects by e-mail. Mark from Unique rang back and explained that his was a legitimate business abiding by all the rules and the problems are not caused by his company. It would seem the fault lies with www.redressclaims.co.uk
