What the address for jakes company now? Website says tollesbury Essex but suspect it's not trading there?

There's no way ufindalocal are working in tollesbury. There in Cromer way chelmsford. Jakes has fake or old address on his website then lol

I've just copied and pasted this address from ufindalocal to the board for others to see. The company now owned by search media limited which is owned by Steve Jakes. There's no way they're based in this address.

Have looked through the windows at ufindalocal a office before. It's only small. I'd say space to park 2 cars and 8 desks maybe.

Like so many other ex staff of Steve Jakes in here I agree the way he carried on was really bad and just attracted dog [***] staff who were only interested in drugs and drink. The facts that he lead by example and even encouraged drink and drugs says it all. He has only himself to blame. #rehab

The way Steve Jakes spoke to staff and customers was shocking awful. No wonder his staff left and he had to constantly recruit new staff every week just to keep a team of 18 or so staff at brentwood. As soon as new recruits witnessed Mr Jakes screaming and shouting [***] this and [***] that they'd leave.

What about when Steve Jakes sent emails out at 3am shouting at his staff telling them to sell more or basically get sacked. He some how thought that was acceptable behaviour and one day screamed like mad when some sort of computer snooper programme he'd set up told him one of his sales men was on bank website. After going off handle and shouting for an hour turned out sales man wasn't on bank website and was actually on yahoo homepage which has an ad on it your a bank and jakes snooping software couldn't suss it out lol. People cringed when he blew up like he did lol more often resulting in the [***] storming out after thumping the office door lol

Despite all this Agrovation it didn't stop Steve Jakes winning an award!

Appears Danny Hewitt the editor of Motortrades Insight Limited is the brother in law of Steve Jakes and is engaged to the sister of Mr Jakes wife. Check his Twitter.

Funny thing I can't understand is that the people who used to moan the most about the adorable Steve Jakes are still working with him or for him lol

Ufindalocal and Motortrades insight or whatever it's called now have less web traffic than ever I think you'll find yet they still sell advertising for hundreds of pounds on it lol

Yeah I saw he'd won an award for the Motortrades insight blogging but didn't know the Hewitt guy was a relative if that's right?

Danny Hewitt is Steves brother in law I can confirm that Steve also employed another journalist can't remember his name though he worked on trade resourcer magazine God knows how much these guys were paid no wonder jakes went skint! Serious. So much £ wasted by jakes it was a joke. He woz paying a guy called stu about 50 grand to do press releases lol

Steve Jakes said he'd pay me my wages that were owed to my face and then after I'd left he'd refuse to take my telephone calls and emails were unanswered.

I am owed £2,412 from Mr Jakes in 2014.

I've given up hope of being paid now.

This is typical if things Steve Jakes used to say. To your face he'd be the big man and say yeah I'll do this for you and so on but when it came to getting paid it was a different game altogether.he would refuse to take your calls and Hide behind the staff there refusing to take calls.hed not read e mails and would sometimes just deny conversations had taken place if confronted and start swearing F this F that C this C that. You get the idea. When they left Hubert road he went missing for days getting his staff to do everything then just turned up at Warley Regis and moaned.when they got chucked out of Regis for not paying rent rob and everyone worked till 11 at night removing computers then Steve went mad saying they were ripping him off.when all they were doing was helping him. He went to his Friday therapy session by all accounts which was obviously more important than saving his business.rob was going to invest in ufindalocal and search media ltd but Steve [***] him over too!

Steve will continue to blame everyone for his failures because he can't ever accept responsibility for his actions.never has been able to in the 3 years or so I knew him.he thinks he can walk on water Lol and if anyone dears to question him or his demands he'd scream and shout telling them if they don't like it they can F off and get another job.couldnt work for that man again oh my god he was so stress full just ask anyone about the pressure he'd put people under and they way he used to carry on was disgusting.everyone can't be wrong ask Jo Harris brad Jervis in fact any of his ex staff what he was like to work for

Take him to the small claims court if he owes you that!

If you can prove it then they will find in your favor and he will have to pay your costs and the monies owed.

I can prove it but the problem is ufindalocal went into liquidation and Steve then brought it back in a new Steve Jakes company called search media ltd so I am out of pocket so whilst morally he should pay me he won't. Sad but true. Search media will go bust in a year and he will do the same again I expect.?

There's something happening in the background against Steve Andrew Jakes that he's not aware of at this stage I don't think, , , so that will be interesting I think we will find out by October or November!!
