i've worked at this call centre, they don't tell staff what they're being paid until u sign a call centre, they bully staff who don't make sales, making the lowest sales staffdo demeaning forfeits and they advertise their jobs as admin and filing jobs and don't tell applicants till they arrive at the call centre plus they dont advertise jobs as universal because they've been in so much trouble
oh and the best part after you learn the sales script you are taught that if a person over the age of fifty answers hang up and swap their electric over cos they will never know!!!!
i have reported them to the jobcentre and now they advertise on gumtree for dundee.
they should be closed down!do not take a job the interview lasts all day and i guarantee it will be the biggest mistake of your life!

I just received a call from this number at 18:18.  Left it for the machine to pick it up.  This is the second whocallsme.com phone number my machine has taken today.  How do they get hold of your numbers?

This is call call center in Scotland, they work for Southern Electric. I had a couple of missed calls from them regarding my cv that was on line I didn't find this out untill a message was left on my answering machine. I spoke to the girl and it is not a commission only job its a basic with bonus depending on the job you want. I went for an interview with them last week they were really really nice was only there just over an hour which was less than my bt interview and got a job out of it. So I think it can be either or either someone calling regarding your utilitie bills or someone calling to offer you a full time job, either way in this climate I'd answer to save or get money! Hope this helps anyone being called.

Just to let you all know I used to work for this company and we are not only commission based but we get a salary as well. They are a sales team with high targets and is very rewarding

i worked for this company and loved it for a while until i realised i was switching customers gas and electric with no evidence id save them money, infact alot of the time i was aware that i would not be saving them any money at all! My advice is to be very wary of them and don't allow them to avoid your questions!

a very pushy customer sevice assistant, from southern electric, as kept pestering me for month, and have now offer to do anything to get me to return to them, would not take no for an answer so will be making an complaint,and getting my details taken off their system.

Has anyone got any idea how to cancel an agreement with them? They were so pushy (and i do have sympathy for the workers) I have supposedly moved back to them and have a 7 day cooling off period that is ending today. I called southern electric yesterday and they said according to them I am not moving back and it is concerning me!

i  have been receiving similar calls as well. and finally made a complaint to souther electric.

Received three missed calls on my mobile no., when phoning the no., it does not work!!!! so I'm glad I googled it to find out that lots of other people are having the same problem. thanks! Does anyone know how to stop it?

hey i'm glad you said that coz i applied for an admin job with them today and they've already phoned my home phone leaving two messages and one on my mobile but i couldnt phone back to them - definately NOT going there then!lol

I am waiting to change from Southern electric to N power I have been getting calls but do not answer.

I work as a secretary and have had numerous calls from this number at work over the last week, if its a number i dont recognise i google it and i did see this thread so avoided answering the call, but today they must have called about 10 times and it was clogging up the business line so i answered, they asked to speak to my boss, so i asked who was calling and they claimed to be from 5g communications, i then got abit suspect about the call as 5g communications (our telephone provider) has their call centre and head office literally round the corner from my office in high wycombe, buckinghamshire! and i deal with them personally on a regular basis so why would they be calling from scotland when they are round the corner?? i said my boss was unavailable but asked what the call was concerning, and the lady on the other line claimed she needed to update the account details, I then asked why as i usually sort out this with our telephone provider (5g) and said that why would you need our details again when you already have it and we have a direct debit set up, the lady then fed me some speal that they where updating their customer care plan. I then said to call back later and the call ended.

I then called 5g communications tovcheck this out and the staff there advised me no calls had been made asking for our account details and they where now looking into this and advising their customers about it.

So please if you get a call from this number dont answer it or if you do say you will report them to the police. It saddens me that people not aware of whats going on, ederly etc.. may get caught out by this and get ripped off!

They called me about 5 times since I left them ...

I get atleast 1 call everyday minimum from the same number, although i don't see a reason for their call as I have made it very clear of my intention of not to change my existing provider..........

Still the same and now with no choice i have made an entry in my phonebook saying "Do not pick" for  this like calls :) and set the ring tone to off.

Now these calls goes without answering.

Hope someone from Southern Electric will view this thread and be more responsible vendor.

keep getting calls from 01307475400. All started when I went to confused.com. don't know who is calling me as I never answered it.

I had a job interview there yesterday. I was very suspicious of the company as they called me out of the blue with a job interview offer, would not tell me the specific role that I would be interviewing for, tried to pressure me into giving them my friends' contact details, would not tell me the basic salary I'd be earning, and also at one point challenged me with "Why do I get the feeling that you're not going to turn up to the interview on Friday?" and then hard-closed me with a definite answer.. which I don't think a reputable business would do.

I did as much Internet research as I could, but could not find any negative feedback about them on the Internet.

The interview was a farce, I was there for a couple of hours; waiting with about 40 other strange and confused-looking people. When I finally got into the interview room the MD asked me to a) talk for 3 minutes on any subject of my choice and keep him interested, then b) tell him a joke, then c) sing him a song.

I did not get the job, but I swear that this company is a horrible people-farm.

I was meant to go for a job interview with 5g communications today and seeing a guy named Aaron. He said to me on the phone the day he phoned "why do i get the impression your not going to turn up tommorrow".

After looking at this website last night i decied not to turn up for the interview and i know i made the right decison. He couldn't tell me the exact location of the building, he asked me what kind of salary i was looking for, no professional company asks you that these days
