Had these calls twice today and once yesterday and a few more over the last week or so getting on my nerves now

Constant contacting by this number for several weeks, at all hours of day & night.  would like to know who this person is and why they have been almost stalking me.

The caller is mcash trying to rake misold ppi - I gave them several dozen silent calls back - that really pissed them off, after 5 minute ssilence the team leader is forced to hang up on you, they really dont like it when thier staff are forced to sit listening to silence - its bad for business...great fun for me !!!!

They ring me about 3 times a day and never leave a message

Called me today asking for Luke Redfield, I get constant calls asking for this mystery person, it all started with a call asking me about my washing machine, TV, and what TV channels I use and blah blah, since then I've been plagued. I did ask the young lady who she voted for today (polling day) and she said "Labour" I'm with TPS and so they are calling me illegally.

Every day at least twice per day my phone shows a missed call from this number but I never hear it ring.

Phone rang no one on the other end.  Could hear talking in the background.   Number is ex directory so don't know where they got the number from

Just had a call from Aurelia with EMCAS. She started to laugh partway through her 'spiel' at which point I interrupted and asked what was so funny. She aplogised and continued, very politely, stating that data showed that I had taken out PPI. I categorically told her that was wrong, she continued with her speech anyway, so I interrupted to say that the conversation was a waste of time and that I was with the TPS and had not asked her to contact me. She apologised and promised to remove my number.

The TPS is only good if the company phoning you us signed up with the TPS as well. If they're not there's absolutely nothing the TPS or yourself can do! Can I suggest that you try blocking this type of caller manually on your phone, if of course this is possible on you phone.

I get called almost every day by this number...no speech.
Getting to be very annoying, tried punching '9' to opt out, no joy, still getting these nuisance calls

Have had endless calls over the last week or so.
I don't have ppi, so please stop calling as you are a nuscience I could do with out.

I answered this number after being called by them every night for a week, only to he told they cant tell me the nature of the call due to data protection, wtf, completely pointless

Then do something about it.  EMCAS have a website, so contact them and tell them to temove your number and that, if they 'phone again you will report them to the Information Commissioner's Office.  Tell them you will do this every time they 'phone you.  If you are registered with TPS then report them.  You may not be aware that just registering with TPS does not stop calls, you have to report the calls to them.

Have called 6 times so far over last couple of days. Have caller display & answer-machine so ignore unknown numbers. Glad u did reading all the comments below.

Try and set up a block on that number and any other ones that ring. At least then they can't ring again!
