Have asked not to ring as not interested but keep ringing

2 calls today. 1at 19.45 tonight other at lunch time. Fed up with cold callers. Will not answer unknown numbers.

TPS is a waste of time - no point using them.  I have now got to the stage where I just say I am not interested "goodbye" and put the phone down.  Rude or not, it is the only way to get rid of them.  \in any event, it is rude of them to telephone at inconvenient times

But this number called me 5 or 6 times what on earth are there trying to achieve

01392353101 called us today in the early evening - the caller claiming to be with from a company in Surrey with contact information gained from a health survey filled in last year - he would not would not state clearly why calling when challenged with questions on identification.
He was told that we did not accept cold callers - we are registered with the TPS - and that as we were not interested in what he had to say we requested that they removed our details from the database and that they must not contact us again.
This is in accordance with our consumer rights and also in accordance with our rights under the Data Protection  Act of 1998 - we are able to withdraw the right for a company to use our information and request that the information be deleted .
We recieved another telephone call from this company 20 minutes later - from the same guy. He would not accept that we were not interested in talking to him and insisted on trying to continue the call - dispite the threat of being reported and the matter of a data protection act breach. Even when we hung up the reciever the caller would not end the call - we had to unplug the phone from the socket. My mother is elderly and
could certainly do without this type of nuiscance and unwanted cold calling.
We made a formal complaint to the ICO - but were disturbed to find on checking the internet that this number and the companies associated with it are well known nuiscance callers - and have been for a number of years. We will be barring calls from this number - but surely at this stage and after
so many complaints formal action should have been taken by the relevent authorities.

They ring my house phone EVERY day!!!

this caller calls me 4 times a day .i have answered it and told them im not interested ive already claimed my ppi .yet they still ring .now i don't answer the phone at all.very annoying.

These wankas call themselves NCAS as far as I can find out there a ppi company I have terminal cancer and have enough problems in a day withou these tossers

Asked who it was & got told they are EMCAS though it sounded like EMCAST or NCAST
Person they wanted wasn't in so they'll be trying again tomorrow at noon, will see.
Normally ignore home phone calls because of telemarketers and PPI nuisance, let it go to answer machine. Going to have to go back to doing that.
If it's important they'd leave a genuine message.

I just had this bunch of MORONS ring from this number 01392 353101 saying they're calling from EMCAS I told him where to go quite literally and slammed the phone down , do theses idiots ever listen.....

Seems to be computer generated. Every time it's answered there isn't anybody there .  Really annoying

Texted the number this time telling them to stop pestering me and had a text message saying that it was T-mobile

Had a call on my mobile from these clowns today at 16.26 about credit loans I told them have never had a loan in my entire life.he wouldn't shut up so I got very angry and he still wouldn't shut up so I sang down the phone and cut him off

Yet another call on my mobile !!   Hardly anyone knows my number !!!   It just goes to prove that they methodically plod through batches of numbers. Horrid horrid people. It was quiet when I answered so I just kept quiet and then I heard a hello hello and I just kept quiet until they got fed up !!!    I'm playing them at their own game. This form of intrusion must be stopped.

I'm getting calls every day, they just never give up!  They have my mobile no. and know my name which I find very invasive. I've tried hanging up but from now on I'm going to put my phone in a drawer so I don't have to listen to them drone on, but at least they'll be paying more for the call!

This number calls me up 5 times each day, they are unsolicited and unwanted.
