This number called yet again - despite me apprently being with TPS. I let it go onto the answering machine but it's still annoying as it still interrupts me. Fed up of endless calls like this every day.
Have to say though -  agree with Freddie W(above) as my mother -in -law got her loft insulated last year for free after answering one of these calls. I was worried that she'd agreed to a surveyor etc coming to  the house so I pitched up when he appeared, however, very nice chap, very helpful, measured it all up and organised the team to do the work - and a job well done. I checked out the paperwork before she signed anything and she did get it all free.  I actually told him about "Whocallsme" and said their marketing calls could be better as the call centre weren't doing any good in promoting the business - in fact the opposite - and to check out all the reports here.

I keep getting calls from this number - same as above, saying they are an agency contacting "home owners" in my area on behalf of the government. Whether that is true or not, I have repeatedly told them that this is a council house, I am not a home owner so there's no use in talking to me - but they keep getting back to me. Highly annoying! Anyway, if they did get my number from the government, they should know that it's not private property - which is enough to make me smell a rat.

Received a all this morning followng a call i had made to my local council.  women said she was from EIS Scotland ltd (no website!) had no idea what my address was yet knew that a surveyor woud be in my local area.  I made an appointment as swhe assured me that they work with the government, but after i put the phone down I did some investigating and got to here.....  Called back and cancelled appointment! Also called my local council who said that this compnay is nott he one they are using and that it appears external groups are aware a mail shot had been done in my area and were essentially cold calling!  Not very happy about that!  Will be blocking all furure calls from EIS Scotland Ltd.

The answering machine picks up all these nuisance calls. This one today began to leave a "message", only it turned out to be females muttering incoherently and giggling in the background. We've had a spate of these pointless calls recently from a variety of numbers and messages are almost never left. What is their point? I work from home and duff phone calls are totally unwelcome. I wish the law could clamp down on these irritating intrusions.

This number called me a few minutes ago but they hung up as soon as I answered

Been receiving calls from them for some time to a named person who has never lived at this address. Just called them back on the number and a very nice young lady tried to blow smoke up my backside by telling me it was a government scheme to make sure we had our entitlement. Also tried to tell me they are not subject to TPS as it is not cold calling, but information only. Cut me off when I told her she was talking through a hole in her backside. Also called the admin office on 01412742100 and was told there was nothing they could do as their call centre used a 3rd party database and she could not tell me which database. All in all, a load of lies.

keep getting calls from this [***] company, sound put out when I asked about them, seems there on a metal loop where they cant respond to questions put to them.
End up I told them to [***] OFF.....but next time I`ll tell them to hold on, put my phone onto speaker and wait untill they get fed up.

I have received several call from this company asking for someone that haasn't been known on this number for almost 10 years. My number is also listed with the preferential system so can you please help to stop this.

Yet another call from this company they must be dodgy.  If as other comments say this company is giving out insulation grants on behalf of the Scottish Government then why are they contacting people who have already received a grant and have insulation and registered with the TPS?

Unsolicited calls periodically from this number asking about loft insulation. Even after being told that we've had it done and not to call again, they still call. I thought that being registered with TPS would stop this, apparently not.

Fed up with getting calls from this outfit.   Everytime I tell them I am ex-deirectory and registered with TPS.   Every time they promise to "update their records" so that they do not call me again.   Rubbish - they keep doing it.   Like many others I am totally fed up with these scam merchants.   It has to be stopped!

A note for the workers at this call centre.  How long until you don't get paid?  Then again you've probably experienced this in some way, shape or form already

caller asked to speak to Mr or Mrs Devlin, as I have been a widower for over twenty five years I do not
like these sort of questions, obviously from someone who does not know my situation, as is therefore
cold calling.

We are also registered with TPS and received a call today 7 Nov 2012 at 1406 purporting to be helping with government grant.  This is not supposed to happen.  I will inform TPS.

Called again 2nd day in a row - asked if I had received Goverment grant for insulation.

Name was Lesley again - but company identified as ESI this time. ( should that be EIS??)

Received a call today  from 0141 438 2187 and we are TPS registered and surprised they allow there number to be seen. I went to teh TPS website and there is a button to complain and suggest everyone affected dows this and then the TPS may take action if enough people complain.

Well my daughter works in this call centre in whitburn and gets paid on the due date, and has been there since Dec 2011.

I think all the negative comment's on this post is inappropriate as she did not have a job until she stepped in for an interview and has progressed through the company.

So in today's climate i would like thank them for putting better clothes on her back and giving her choices of what to do when paid rather than waiting on a dole payment.
