Got call today asking to speak to my deceased parents!! When I asked who was calling, guy said Gary and was from Energy Service about replacement boiler. I asked him where he got the number, told me he didn't know!! Told him I was on TPS, to remove number and not phone again.  Had calls from this number before, requested them not to call again, would seem they don't listen!! Really fed up with this type of call, getting more frequent from variety of numbers. It upsets me to hear my parents' names being used.

My answerservice clearly states I do not accept cold callers this number never leaves a message and call 3_4 times per day. So annoying

A Glasgow accent claiming to be for a company called ESI Scotland, supplying loft insulation. I'm registered with TPS so even if it's a genuine company, they shouldn't be cold-calling me, which they've done several times.
If they call you, don't just grumble here - report them to ICO!

Had a call from this number. The caller asked for me by name and when I asked who was calling she stalled and then said that she had called the wrong number. I replied by saying that she had not made a mistake as she had asked for me by name. Yet another wasted phone call - and a scam.

Beat the scam calls. Subscribe to Caller ID on your phone. It doesn't cost much. Then when phone rings, if the caller is in your phone directory thier name will be displayed. If not .. the number calling will be displayed so you can decide to answer or not. Most scams & sales calls display "International" or "Number Withheld". Just don't lift the phone to these.Let some other mug take the hassle

Listen up people. The TPS is funded, not by the government as I thought, but by the direct marketing industry. Do you really think they are going to try to stop direct marketing calls ? And bearing the above in mind ... are you really surprised that most people who sign up to the TPS end up getting MORE marketing calls ? That is certainly my experience I'm very suspicious that they sell on the names and phone numbers of subscribers to outfits wanting a database for their sales calls and rip offs !

Phoned twice today and hang up as soon as I answer. Pests whoever they are - and I have a TPS registered number!

I received a call from this number at just around 5 pm. I was picked up by an analogue phone I have but not by the didgital phone. I looked up you forum and another one and decided to bar it on the Panasonic KXTG 8561 I have. Today it has phoned at 10.23 am and 12.40 pm. This phone does not ring out when a number is barred and it is the best purchase I have made as far as home telephones are concerned.

Anyone on TPS has no life anyway, i got call wrk in a call centre myself for debt collection people are just trying to wrk and provide a service. I gave them a go and got free insulation and a boiler free so im happy, cslked me frim 0141 274 2108

arsholes and the owner is an idiot tried calling my house and spoke to a polite guy and was going to go ahead until i found who is the owner scammed my neighbours already in edinburgh....................................................

Keep calling & when I answer it said " I'm sorry there's no one available to take your call please call an 0845 number " & if you want to remove your details it goes silent when she goes to tell you what number to press
