It was a way for him to raise funds but also pay commission to his mates for the sales

Why don't you be a bit more optimistic. A lot of people involved in this seem to take delight in saying 'everyone is ruined'. Why don't you do some research of your own Joe before making comments just plucked out of mid air. What is the market value of Safestore ? What is the market value of Big yellow. How have their share prices performed over the years.? How much sq ft of storage space does each have, and how does this equate to £ per sq feet. Easy to look up. Why don't you do this before making such scaremongering claims.

Perhaps Joe would have a bit more confidence if a valuation have been undertaken, independently. That was not allowed to happen was it!

I never said anything about what the resale value would be. I asked a simple question that with 10 mins on the internet could come up with an answer. -- What is the market value of Big yellow and Safestore, and how much square footage has each got giving a value of £ per sq foot. But like so many on this forum, it  is just full of people shouting their mouths off and abusing people

Facts from the SSA doesn't matter how much SF hype up the price or values I have yet to see any evidence of anything to prove me wrong I'm very willing to be proven wrong but can't find a single piece of evidence that would support  the claim that capita oaks pods are worth anything near what was paid for them

Spot on. Long term sustainable and trusted businesses cannot be compared to this scam. I spoke to a lawyer about this scheme months ago, his first comments were "Oh, I doubt the investments will end up being worth anything". Like Joe, i have seen nothing to contradict that comment so far.
