- I replies to Paul T| 1 replyAm sorry Paul ,the land and pods are registered at the land registry as a freehold and therefore the land and pods belong to the investor ,in this case capita oak . Should the entire structure be demolished and sold for redevelopment then that would certainly be a massive coup for capita oak .
- Freehold replies to IThe investor is the leaseholder, even if you could knock down the warehouse what would you build, another warehouse. These sites aren't in prime locations as the one million purchase price shows.

"A spokesman for the Serious Fraud Office said the winding up petition was not connected with a separate investigation into pension schemes which had invested in pods from Store First.
Capita Oak Pension and Henley Retirement Benefit schemes, Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPS) as well as other storage pod investment schemes are being investigated over fraud allegations. The amounts invested total over £120million, the Serious Fraud Office said. " - and..| 3 replieshttps://www.theguardian.com/money/2017/may/27 ... -office-warning
"Store First, based near Burnley, told us: “The SFO investigation is not against Store First or its product of storage pods, but against the schemes named … Store First is in no way connected with the running of any pension scheme being investigated by the SFO or, indeed, any scheme. In addition, Store First does not carry out any direct sales activity, and all sales are made by third party intermediaries.” - Interesting replies to and..| 2 repliesthen that SFO questionnaire asks about insurance!!!

Anything involving Tony Whittaker is bad news, but this is a huge scam even by his standards.
These storage pods were complete rubbish, and were sold to gullible customers by bent pension advisers, including Jackson Francis Ltd in LIverpool. Whittaker paid a super-dodgy company called Transeuro Worldwide Holdings Ltd no less than 30m in commission to shift this worthless junk, robbing people of their hard won pension pots.
There's an interesting article from the BBC here - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-3499
So all that rubbish from his solicitors is just that - rubbish. The sooner this toxic company is wound up the better, and while they're at it they need to disqualify TW from ever acting as a director again.
It's no coincidence that his email address begins tw@t! - uh uh replies to Lancashire Telegrapha lot of deleted comments
