Load of tosh, they didn't even speak to us, why don't they find a proper job!!

5 times a day these people are calling me

Recorded message informed me that according to records held by the caller I could be entitled to compensation for an injury sustained that was not my fault but I had not yet made a claim. I was advised that the average compensation amounted to £3750-00 and that this was money that I was entitled to. If I was unsure of whether I was entitled to compensation I should press 5 on my phone to speak to a live advisor.

Since I have not received a personal injury - this can only be a random  telemarketing call.

This is the second call from this number that I have had this week. The first was a recorded message saying  "This is an important message. You are receiving this call because you have opted in to receiving these types of calls from the financial services industry"

Again I have not opted in to anything.

I have reported both to the ICO and will keep doing so. Maybe if enough people complain they will finally do something to stop this harassing.

cold caller recorded message to say we have opted into receiving these calls about debt - getting really fed up with these calls now as had 3 in 15mins from different numbers - ex die number + TPS means nothing

This number just called, but didn't answer (caller display). If you DO answer - they then know the number is 'live' and sell it on to other companies - then you'll keep on being pestered!

I received a call from this number and got a recorded message about debt. I hung up in anger, but then thought I would like to know who they are and get them stopped. I get more and more of this sort of call. As well as scam calls from 'Visa' and 'Microsoft'. They must think I was born yesterday. But no doubt they succeed sometimes and that worries me.

Yes, there is. Truecall. Stops all nuisance calls. I've had mine since January and not one of these has got through. According to the logs, this one tried yestrday, but I wasn't disturbed. £100 well spent.

Stop calling me about debt that I do not have. We got 2 pre-recorded calls today 21/3/13 to add to the long long list of calls from these scumbags.
We have never requested any information nor have I ever had any difficulties that require debt management. Pressing 9 does not stop the calls as they claim.

I wouldn't press any numbers. I had a call from them today but just hung up. Pressing numbers just announces your presence or worse -- who knows? It's a bit like websites that won't let you back out, even when you press the red X. Have nothing to do with numbers or websites like that. I think I read the TPS won't investigate recorded calls. They are useless anyway.

'Hello there..' (automated message). Hangs up and adds to spam filter.

Message as all above - Suggest everybody reports all these types of messages to OFCOM on 0207 291 3320   one day something will be done and these people will crawl back into the hole they came from.

please help im getting calls 3 to 4 times a day from this number.
this is harrassment, if i wanted help with debit i would call for help off my own back and from a human not an automated message. how do i stop these calls????

i look at the the number if i dont know the number i dont answer     some one(cold caller) knocks on my door i look out the window and politely wave them away  lets face it no one rings you to GIVE you money

There must be a way to stop these irritating calls. I am registered with the TPS but that only covers live calls. Recorded message are controlled by some other organisation (ICO) the Information Commission Office. I know its a pain but everyone needs to report these calls to the ICO to help get them stopped.

This area code is local to me, so if anyone knows the caller's address I'd happily pay the timewasting lowlifes a visit.That said, I think the number may have been hijacked if that's possible.

Let my answering machine take the call so they had to pay something for the privilege of disturbing me. People who know me leave valid messages and know about my ploy. Cold callers like these never leave messages and hardly ever let the outgoing message start. 1471 brought up this number and I'm glad I didn't answer.
