First -  What road?   I don't see any address posted previously.
Second - The number is two characters longer than a US number
Third - UK Phone Information clearly identifies that, like many Scottish rural areas, the code covers several villages.   See below:01542 842 715

Wee too-doo on the phone today from a Loxley Jones' Debt Response Team introducer trying to persuade my youngest sister to get a trust deed. They should be out in the fields planting tatties not flogging tat.

Spoofed number, as it comes up 'the number you have dialled has not been recognised' when you phone back.

I have had several calls from this company I am not interested can they be stopped.

Just called me in Wales for the first and last time. My new phone with call blocker is working brilliantly, would recommend to anyone. Just put the number in and then next time they ring my phone says engaged and cuts them off. It doesn't even ring at my end just registers their number. Sorted!

I have recently had an increase in recorded nuisance calls. On returning the call the number is unobtainable.

Reports each call here... TPS can't do anything about recorded messages, only live sales calls. ICO deals with nuiscance recorded messages.

Can't telephone provides give you a list of numbers to block - in the same way you can block specific email addresses

Yep, me too! What's the point in registering with TPS when these calls still happen, albeit not as much but this clearly isn't from an international number so surely they can be reported for ignoring the OPT OUT OF NUISANCE CALLS.  I'd love to play their message back to them over and over through a loudspeaker whilst they lay quietly in their beds at 3am in the morning!  Revenge is a dish best served LOUD!

Scum pests. I will find out who they are and have some friends visit them and beat them up. It's the only thing they understand.

TPS needs to tell us how we can eliminate these scammers but will they? No cos they're sittin on their [***] congratulating themselves how wonderful they are.

Recorded message from "The Department for Compensation at 'Had an Injury?'" saying that according to their records someone at the address had recently had an injury for which they were due compensation but that they had not yet made a claim for this; dial 5 to speak to someone, and 9 to be removed.

Reported to ICO - who have actually fined two individuals heavily in the recent past for such messages.

Telephone Preference Service (TPS) may help reduce receipt of live unsolicited direct marketing calls

but will not stop pre- recorded calls.

Organisations that use recorded phone message to try and sell or promote their products or services have to comply with the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003. These say that marketers who leave recorded phone messages must obtain prior consent from the subscriber before they can make such a call.
Where a subscriber receives a recorded phone message they haven't agreed to there may have been a breach of the regulations. If you are receiving recorded messages and have not given prior permission and can identify the organisation leaving the message, you can complain directly to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), who are the body responsible for enforcing the above regulation. I just complained online about this company I suggest you all do the same it is the only way to stop them perhaps.

Same as above experiences - just dial 1477 after they ring and it's then logged as malicious.

Why are these people allowed to get away with this!!?

Just got a recorded call. Can reduce my debts by 70%. On TPS but these calls are two or three times daily some weeks.
