Report a phone call from 01592642600 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- MartinThis number called me this afternoon, seemed to have already some partial information about me, when trying to elicit further details I asked them why they were calling as my number is on the TPS li.... he hung up.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Slow LorisCaller asked for a non-existent person. When asked, "who's calling?" promptly hung up without another word.
Since the called number is TPS-registered, and there was no attempt to do anything other than confirm identity, one can only assume calls originating from this number are of criminal intent: confirming ID (and by implication address), with a view to later identity fraud attempts or similar.
Having read other entries in this thread, it is very worrying that the Scottish police are NOT apparently taking this seriously, although it is also very odd that caller ID isn't suppressed by the organisation doing the calling.
This ought to be a simple enough matter for OFCOM or whoever to wrap-up - after all there's no shortage of evidence, and criminal offences are being committed wholesale (calling TPS-registered numbers without checking the database). Toothless, pointless or what?- Caller: Who knows?
- MikenMaggieGot a call this evening, but couldn't hear what the company name was. Female voice - hung up on me as I started to say we were eating and it wasn't convenient to talk now.
- Mrs L Taylor| 4 repliesI have no idea who this person is. I don't wish to receive any more calls from them.
- Chris Ponting replies to Mrs L TaylorThese guys phoned & offered my Dear Husband £100 M&S vouchers if we would agree to a designer coming over and completing a kitchen design for us. DH was very assertive and double checked that whatever the outcome, we would receive these vouchers. Ist appointment was cancelled 20 mins after they should have arrived as their car had broken down -said no problem, come when AA been but no! Still assured him £100 M&S vouchers would come once appt was rearranged. They came last night, the designer and the man he was training. Designer was from Evesham, and the trainee was from Camberley. They arrived 10 mins early - no supper in DH yet as he arrived home as they arrived. They left at 11.20 pm. FOUR hours! It was the most comical presentation ever - with phone calls to "James - regional mgr" to get us a discount. Discount offered if we agreed to put sign up outside house, have before and after photos taken and write a positive testimonial!!!! It is really so funny to listen to them - they seriously think they are pulling the wool over their eyes. We let them go through the whole thing, wasting their own four hours. At 11.15 we were asked to sign a paper to get £25 M&S vouchers, and a further £25 if we signed up there and then! DH queried this - saying £100 promised. Chris the "designer" was embarrased at the lies we had been told and will feedback to us! HaHa!!!! We are giggling at having been taken in, and laughing at wasting their time too. The poor man, John, who was being trained, must be wondering what he is doing. So awful it's funnny!!!!

- Ex Employee| 7 repliesI'm an ex employee of Butler and Carr, Maxwell and Millar, Harvey and Grant, and let's not forget Greg and Goodwin.
I can understand your frustration the best thing to do is to hang up or block withheld numbers I know for a fact Sky has a service which will do this for 4 pound a mouth this could vary with other service providers.
The way this hole scam work's is people are called up using photocopied phone books this means If you have CPR or TPS it's basically useless.
I'm not saying what I done was right and I'm not going to defend myself in anyway what so ever, I'm trying my hardest too help you now all you really can be is assertive most people in this company are a few slices of bread away from a loaf when it comes to manners.
!BEST THING TO DO IS TO CUT THEM OFF!- Caller: DM Design
- Repost replies to TimI hope you don't get groped by Donald for coming on here!

A WEALTHY businessman has lost an employment tribunal after it was ruled that he had kissed and groped a teenage employee despite his wife being in the next office.
Donald MacLeod, 44, a director of the family firm DM Design Bedrooms Ltd, of Cumbernauld, was yesterday ordered to pay £1,070 in compensation to a telesales canvasser, Lindsay Wallace, 19, for unlawfully sexually discriminating against her.
Mllionaire businessman had asked to see the girl’s tattoos before the tribunal heard how he tried to kiss her and put his hands on her bottom.
At an earlier hearing in May, MacLeod admitted asking her for a kiss in exchange for a piece of wood, but claimed Miss Wallace initiated the advance.
Miss Wallace, from Eastfield, Cumbernauld, had asked MacLeod for a piece of wood in July last year. As they went to collect it from the warehouse, he inquired about her tattoos.
Miss Wallace, who has a tattoo on each arm, three on her hip, and one on her thigh and ankle, added: “He asked to see any ones that weren’t on show. I declined.”
After finding a piece of wood, they returned to an office within the building.
Miss Wallace continued: “He then approached me, tried to place his hands on me, put them around me, then on my bottom. I backed off and asked ‘How do I get out of the office?’ I was confused and very upset.”
MacLeod denied Miss Wallace’s version of events. However, he conceded that he did ask the teenager for a kiss, before insisting that she then made an advance on him.
In a written judgment yesterday, the Glasgow tribunal ruled: “We had no hesitation in preferring the evidence of the applicant to the evidence of Mr MacLeod. We made a close examination of the demeanour of each when giving evidence. We considered Mr MacLeod’s demeanour to be somewhat evasive.” - JaneNumber rings me but hangs up before I get a chance to answer
