They are still at it! DM design. 27 pages on this thread. Why doesn't Ofcom or TPS take some action? How long do these nuisance calls have to go on before we all go mad with these people?

They are still at it. They called me, got the name right BUT said Mrs instead of miss. When I said I rent & I am not the homeowner, the rude little prickly Hung up on me!! I will get them, bloody waste my time to then be so bloody arrogant & hang up without an apology or anything...you called the wrong number mate!!

Go girl, GO!  As you sound determined to seek revenge, you could start by calling the police NOW to report them under the Protection from Harrassment Act 1997.

Also, if they call you again, be sure to register it by dialling 1477, which apparently logs it as a nuisance call with the Commissioners.  If enough of us do this, we WILL get the scumbags shut down.

I got a call from a female 20 mins ago and asked for me by name, when I asked who was calling she hung up.

Same thisng happened to me last night. WHat company calls on a Sunday night to sell something. I said "Who are you and she hung up"

This number just rang my 89 year Grandma and when she said to them "oh I'll just put you on to my daughter" they hung up!!  Dodgy

Received a call Friday night...caller had my name and address details correct...advised me that I had won £1000 in vouchers and that there were 3 qualifying questions...asked me if I owned my own home so I said "No"...caller hung up immediately without a word...don't think I'll get another call from them (even though I do own my own home...!)

Caller asked if they were speaking to Mrs W, when I said that it was me speaking they told me that I had 'qualified' for vouchers and asked if I was the homeowner.  When I then asked where they were calling from they promptly hung up.  I will be reporting this to trading standards as I am member of TPS.  The woman had a scottish accent.

I have received several calls from this number, always inconvenient times and when I try to ring back all i get is a sort of engaged tone.

One time i did take the call without checking the number and was asked to answer a couple of questions and that i'd qualified to win vouchers, on the next call i was told i had won but had to spend money to get them.

Had a call from this number today, They had the name right but when I enquired as to who they where Liam hung up

Called themselves Harvey and grant - there's a listing elsewhere on this site with a different number.
Not a sales talk, apparently, just a survey - about the age of my kitchen - so of course I told him it's nearly new and so he ended the conversation.
From Scotland by the accent. Rang after 8pm.

received 8.04pm no one there when we answered, 1471'd it and google took me here. TPS for 7 years on this number!

For a few days after transferring energy supplier from Scottish Power I kept getting calls from
01292 773108 which I ignored. I then received a call from this number. The woman asked for someone I'd never heard of. When I asked where she'd got my number (we're on TPS) she immediately hung up.

i just received a telephone call from the above number asking only was I mRs horne, i then asked can i ask who's calling they hung up, i then tried to call back and tone like an engaged tone, unable to get through.  I obviously typed number into google to find out who it may be, the are code is local to me as I live in Scotland and lived in the area code.  Find it strange that this has definetly happened to people previously.

You find it strange that this has happened previously??!!!!   Only 28 pages of complaints - and that's only the few that are bothered to report it!

I would imagine that many hundreds of people are disturbed and abused by this shower of $h1t every day - and many of them are registered with TPS.

Could you do us a favour, as you live locally to them?  Please would you go round to tell them what imbeciles they are, for all of us.  All the details are in earlier postings.

They called. I answered. They put the phone down. I Googled. Now I'm here. Not sure what the point was. Guess someone is being paid by the call - even if all they do is put the phone down. And I'm on TPS - why isn't Ofcom dealing with this?

They keep calling me 3/4 times a week and every time they ask for my late Gran.  It's very stressful to have to tell someone I don't know that she passed away a few months ago and they always hang up and then call back a few days later.  They just called me, again asking for my Gran and I said "Listen, you call three or four times a week..." and before I could ask them for the umpteenth time to remove my number from their database, they hung up.

How can I stop them from calling me?

A male voice called this evening and asked for Mr and Mrs with my surname. When  asked for first names they  wanted to speak to they rang off.

Instead of everyone telling us how they were also called and they simply did the 3 things above, we'd soon get the scumbags shut down.
