Just had 'Davis & Dean' on said number from nice-sounding girl called Laura, clearly reading script. When I asked why she was calling, why she thought I was a home-owner and had she heard of TPS she said they'd been having this all morning, and was going to complain, I thought to TPS, because they'd given them registered numbers.

Have used the helpful information (postal address) on this website in my complaint to TPS.
    • Caller: Davis & Dean, allegedly!

They use out of date phonebooks to hassle you lot, TPS is no help

DM Design started advertising on a forum for Professional (Commercial) Pilots.  Exactly the sort of people who register with TPS to ensure they don't get woken up by unsolicited cold calls before flying.

Their advert was removed very quickly when these 40 pages of complaints were pointed out!  About as stupid as it would be for Durex to advertise in a Catholic church - not a clever marketing idea from the Donut!

They are not Davies & Dean, Foster & Fraser, McAlister & Fitzpatrick or McAlister & Fitzgerald.  This is just the bu***hit they tell you.

They are DM Design, a lying, dishonest, scamming company that is afraid to trade under their own name, a company that lies to cover up their bad press, illegally calling YOU and many others who really don't want to be disturbed while registering with TPS.

They are disrespectful, RUDE and selfish.  They just can't understand your upset at being repeatedly disturbed by their illegal calls, and somehow they seem offended that you don't want to talk with them.

Call the Managing Director, Donald MacLeod, on 0800 185186, why not ask him about when he was fined for forcing himself upon his young female staff against her will?

Why not e mail them at sales@dmdesign.com - maybe spam them and fill up their inbox?  Wouldn't it be funny if they received a virus that trashed their systems?

EVERYBODY should call Donald MaCleod TIME AND TIME AGAIN, on their FREEPHONE number:

0800 185186 - and ask to speak to Donald MaCleod personally.  If he can't come to the phone, it might be that he's too busy groping his staff:

Director pays out for kissing employee

    GalleryPublished Date: 26 July 2002
    By JAMES DOHERTY

A WEALTHY businessman has lost an employment tribunal after it was ruled that he had kissed and groped a teenage employee despite his wife being in the next office.

Donald MacLeod, 44, a director of the family firm DM Design Bedrooms Ltd, of Cumbernauld, was yesterday ordered to pay £1,070 in compensation to a telesales canvasser, Lindsay Wallace, 19, for unlawfully sexually discriminating against her.

The millionaire businessman had asked to see the girl’s tattoos before the tribunal heard how he tried to kiss her and put his hands on her bottom.

At an earlier hearing in May, MacLeod admitted asking her for a kiss in exchange for a piece of wood, but claimed Miss Wallace initiated the advance.

Miss Wallace, from Eastfield, Cumbernauld, had asked MacLeod for a piece of wood in July last year. As they went to collect it from the warehouse, he inquired about her tattoos.

Miss Wallace, who has a tattoo on each arm, three on her hip, and one on her thigh and ankle, added: “He asked to see any ones that weren’t on show. I declined.”

After finding a piece of wood, they returned to an office within the building.

Miss Wallace continued: “He then approached me, tried to place his hands on me, put them around me, then on my bottom. I backed off and asked ‘How do I get out of the office?’ I was confused and very upset.”

MacLeod denied Miss Wallace’s version of events. However, he conceded that he did ask the teenager for a kiss, before insisting that she then made an advance on him.

In a written judgment yesterday, the Glasgow tribunal ruled: “We had no hesitation in preferring the evidence of the applicant to the evidence of Mr MacLeod. We made a close examination of the demeanour of each when giving evidence. We considered Mr MacLeod’s demeanour to be somewhat evasive.”

They called just now, Harvey and Grant, young guy mentioning vouchers... knew my name, owned my property and then asked for my postcode, I said as he'd called me I would presume he knows it. He hung up. I didn't, which meant in order for him to call out again he had to wait until I eventually did. After 5 minutes I came back from making tea and did.

P.s. I'm ex-directory and so makes it so much more annoying being called every other day by clowns like this.

Just had this number call me claiming it was courtesy call after I had entered my number on a "lucky draw for home improvements" - utter rubbish by the way. When I stopped the woman and explained the number was on the TPS and asked how they got it, I got the same reply (lucky draw). When I pointed out that I had not entered any draw and asked again how she she got my number the answer changed to "it was selceted at random from an online database" - at which point I put the phone down.

Had a few like this lately with the caller (male / female) always having a strong Scottish accent. 9 times out of 10 as soon I ask them where they got the number from, they hang up.

Just had a Scottish woman phone me from this company. Refused to give me her number, then cut me off when I asked to speak to her supervisor. I have been with TPS since it's inception.

Right im going to say this once and once only. Tps ect not going to work. They use old phonebooks. Calls are recorded very very rarely so yes your going to get the odd tool chat [***] or hang up on you. 90% of the phones are witheld so block witheld numbers. Its not a scam to be honest. Its simply if you own your home and your kitchens over a certain age youll get a free plan and design and a 800 pound voucher towards the cost of a fully fitted kitchen at any point in the future . Theres really no scam, you either want the kitchen or not, no one is forcing you to buy anything, you would know all this if you give the first caller a chance. They also tell you there from dm design if you get the call back,  And with the whole call sitution as a said, block witheld numbers, i know sometimes the number comes up, but calling that back wont work im sure thats just a fax number. Every phone in there call centres go out witht that number but keep doing what your doing, its not ilegal so nothings really going to happen,Especially that that the companys been going for over 25 years, may i add the only kitchen bedroom and bathroom company thats lasted that long. And people who are calling the callers scumbags and such, are you for real? Look at it from there point of view, you get up go to work, you get your call sheet, you phone people and do the job your supposed to do and 50% of the time take abuse from you lot, aint all fun and games for them either you know. Jobs are tough to come by these days, people have familys bills to pay ect. Surely thats better than being on the dole?  Its just a roundabout ladies and gentleman. Nothing you can do im afraid, Life sucks sometimes doesnt it?

Oh and before any one calls me a lier ect, just take it from someone who been there and done that.

The illiterate idiot tries to justify disturbing thousands of people illegally, just because he's being paid.

And then it is offended by our reaction to being woken / disturbed etc... what a total clown!

Reading (or at least, trying to understand what was written) the garbled, illiterate nonsense, clearly their time would have been far better spent concentrating a bit harder at school - especially English!  Then the idiot might have had a chance to land a REAL, useful job, instead of being proud to piss so many people off.

What a total idiot.  Even more so for coming here to try to justify its actions.

Caller rang and  when queried who they were they rang off. Seems like this is a common practice looking at other reports on this webpage.

Basically a nuisance call but could be someone with criminal intent?

Clearly you are the ' illiterate idiot' saying it is not a real job? Course it is making millions of pounds per annum, but you would know that being so clever? Have you ever thought of people doing higher education doing this job to keep themselves afloat? But that can't be everyone that does telemarketing are illiterate idiots right? Do not post garbage that you know nothing about.

Now we are getting petty. I should have expected more comical genius from someone who claims they have unmatched ability in using the English language. Maybe you should use your 'unmatched ability' other than a forum full of idiots like yourself moaning about a company which makes millions of pounds profit per year.

Glad I didnt, if I wanted a new kitchen I would go out and get one, do not need telesales people disturbing my Sunday night.  Get a life and stop calling people who are not interested especially on a SUNDAY evening!
