I wonder if the net is closing in on this trainer who calls his victims "idiots", and who trains people to call us "idiots" whilst breaking the law and disregarding the TPS?
Be careful, it can be a dangerous place out there, Mr Forbes... - Milton Man replies to CCDM Design have regional offices around the country (Milton Keynes, Croydon, Harlow, Northampton, and others).

http://www.readinglocaljobs.co.uk/Jobsite/Recruiter/27890/DM-Design
It brags about being a family run company with the same MD for 25 years - they forgot to mention he was fined for groping his young femaile staff! - PilotDM Design Ltd are advertising on the Professional Pilot's Rumour Network (PPRuNe) an online forum for professional (commercial) pilots - exactly the sort of people who need sleep before operating at crazy hours of the day or night.
It is exactly these professionals who would subscribe to to TPS, to prevent companies such as DM Design from disturbing their sleep pattern.
Anyone disturbed by the possibility that their pilot could be seriously fatigued and therefore dangerous because DM Design Ltd choose to break the law should make their complint heard, loud and clear.- Caller: DM Design Ltd

- pobbleJust been called by these SCUMBAGS. What is the purpose of TPS why can they not do something when there are over 40 pages of complaints about these creeps. I have been called by them on at least 20 occasions and each time asked to be removed from their data base., The whistle idea is beginning to look like the answer!
- Rubies.O.A.P. replies to LOLMy daughter got the sack after only one day because she refused to lie and even told the customers what was happening and apologized...Needless to say she did not get paid either...Take a tip from me if you do not recognize the number do not answer it and type it in here...I am receiving these calls from early till dark but I let it ring...

- Allan Forbes replies to CC| 5 repliesI thought I might take the opportunity to reply In person to some of the accusations being cast at my door. I am Allan Forbes, I do work for D M design as a sales manager and I am married to Yvonne and we do live in Tilehurst Reading.
Well done to those who have found my linkedin profile, Facebook Accounts and other business interests. Anyone with a single ounce of common scenes will instantly realise that if I were trying to hide or in the slightest ashamed as being the sales manager for D M Design I would not be so public.
D M Design is a good company and yes there are issues with people who get annoyed by telephone calls I myself am not a great fan. Our marketing companies do from time to time by the nature of our system contact people who request that they have no calls, these are human errors. However I can assure you that although not my job and I do not have any influence in the way the company markets its self, D M Design are currently installing a new system which has been approved by the TPS.
Those who do not want calls should make sure that they register with the TPS, it’s not a failsafe however.
Now to customers, There seems to be a couple of comments from what can only be described as anonymous ex-employees, disgruntled, got an axe to grind, fallen out with the company and decided to attack a very visible person. In the very savvy world of today, there is no such thing as an “idiot” customer and I certainly wouldn’t be doing this job if I thought it, let alone trained it. The customer in today’s world is much more astute than they have ever been.
So to those who hide behind aliases, are you prepared to lift your vial and be as honest? To those who slander, are there no skeletons in your cupboard?
To those who D M Design do offend I do apologise and we do value our customers an annoying you is the last thing we want to do. We have been in business for 27 years, never been bust or changed our names or directors. We don’t always get it right but we are working on annoying you by telephone less.
I can’t help but think those who published my personal details will not be so ready to publish their own, what have they to hide.
Finally, anyone can write to Donald Macleod at the HQ office in Cumbernauld and I can tell you 100% he takes the reputation of his company very seriously…..
Allan Forbes, Regional Manager, D M Design - South - Mr Savvy replies to Allan Forbes| 2 repliesCredit for coming on here Mr Forbes. It shows you take an interest in the perception of your company.
Can you please publish the names of the marketing companies you mentioned, and the directors names? - Annoyed TPS registered person replies to Allan ForbesOK Allan Forbes, then why don't you contact your mate Donnie MacLeod NOW to tell him to stop the practice of illegally using pages torn out of the phone book for cold calling people, irrespective of whether they're TPS registered or not? This completely flouts the law, the principles of the TPS, and is a criminal offence.
Please don't tell us that DM Design don't do that - there are enough employees / ex employees on here telling us that this is one of the methods (the only method?) you use to illegally find numbers to cold call.
And if Donnie MacLeod was so bothered about his reputation, he'd have read the 45 + pages af VERY ANGRY people on this site, and he'd have done something to stop his illegal activity by now. It looks to us like he doesn't give a to$$ so long as he gets his profits - at whatever cost. It would seem that he has form with illegal activity...
By the way - you seem to have an echo - echo - echo - as well as dreadful spelling. - Ben replies to Mr SavvyNo. No credit to Allan Forbes for coming on here.
He bleats about caring about the reputation of his company, but that's totally bogus.
A good, honest company director or senior manager would care about these, in the following order:
1 Happy customers (in this case, victims)
2 Company reputation
3 His personal issues
The fact that DM Design has been ignoring all of us voicing complaints of illegal harrassment in this thread for years, yet Allan Forbes posts here just hours after his personal details are posted in public shows that his cares are in the completely opposite order:
1 His personal issues
2 Company reputation
3 Happy customers (in this case, victims)
He and other senior directors / management have seen all these complaints for years, yet they have done sweet FA about it until personal details about one of them is posted, and then we get a tear-jerking sob story about how honourable they try to be, and what a decent, caring, open guy he is. Remarkable! And very cynical. Pathetic really.
So here's the deal, Mr Forbes. You challenged some anonymous people on here to reveal who they are. The deal is on, provided you get Mr MacLeod to stop ALL ILLEGAL calls which breach the TPS code within 24 hours. And post his personal mobile number here in good faith. Do that, and I'll be the first to volunteer my personal details here, and I'm sure many others would follow.
But we all know it won't happen, because years of illegal behaviour ain't gonna change overnight. For DM Design, profit comes before the law. Leopoards don't change their spots! - John replies to Allan ForbesAllan Forbes wrote "There seems to be a couple of comments from what can only be described as anonymous ex-employees, disgruntled, got an axe to grind, fallen out with the company and decided to attack a very visible person"
A couple of disgruntled ex employees??!! - ha! There's at least 40 pages of seriously pi$$ed off TPS registered people writing here that DM Design have illegally called, and probably 6 pages of disgruntled ex employees.
DM Design seem to pi$$ off a hell of a lot of people! Why don't you just start obeying the law, and then it probably wouldn't get personal?
Just a thought. - Allan Forbes replies to Mr SavvyHi, that, as I detailed earlier is not my job function. Any contractor must abide by the TPS and any issue should be taken up with the TPS direct....
I do care, but publishing a private persons details is as bad if not more so, how would you feel if I published your details on the internet. I have nothing to hide and only work for the company like many others, this is not the way.....
It would also appear that there are some individuals here who are just hell bent on causing trouble rather thank fixing the issues. If you spent more time canvassing or lobbying the TPS then the problem would go away.
The truth, I think there are more ex-employees with axes to grind, than complaints from real people.
If you are a real person who is getting loads of call and you suspect that they are from D M Design, then write to the TPS every time and it will stop, or write to Donald Macleod and again they will stop.
I am not goping to comment agin on this thread as I believe I have tried to advise and also have helped drive real people with problems in the right direction. - QQ| 1 replyIsnt it interesting that a so-called legal eagle comes on, so soon after AF when for 2 years there has been no sign (put me right if im wrong) of any other "legal" guidance on here.
I find the spelling of 'both' people questionable also.
All in all, what a grubby presence this company has in our lives, without any indication that its going to change.- Caller: DM Design
- Cherryblossomchris replies to QQFrankly I don't care who's saying what about whom...Grow up. These people know they are in the wrong. The best form of defence is attack.
Just do as we all ask and stop making nuisance calls!
As a famous meerkat once said....Simples! - CherryblossomchrisMight just add...had a call from this number this morning...didn't answer...wouldn't waste my time
- PaulYeah, McAllister and Fitzgerald on the phone again this afternoon.
Told them not to phone this number again but it hasn't stopped them before. I'll need to start recording them.- Caller: McAllister and Fitzgerald
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Fed upI am one of those "real people" and have been getting calls from DM Design's marketing company for years. I am not a customer, nor an employee, ex or otherwise. Asking to be removed from any calling list results results in one of two outcomes, either I'm told I will be, or I'm simply hung up on.
Alternatively asking questions about who the company is (as the names given are never registered with companies house) will 'always' results in being hung up on. This tells me that the organisation calling me is aware they are breaking the law and simply don't care because either the fines or the enforcement of the law are weak. They are playing a numbers game. If I complain enough I will probably end up on a no call list simply because I will be marked as someone who will pursue the matter with the authorities.
You'd think that with this number of complaints on this website and others that any reputable company would re-evaluate their choice of marketing contract to avoid association. Should people post someone's personal details on the web, no. The fact that people are willing to go that far should in itself be a message to the company and also an indictment of a pattern of behaviour that seems to have lasted for years and show no signs of changing.
So yes I will complain each and every time to the TPS and the ICO Mr Forbes, you can count on it.- Caller: McAllister and Fitzpatrick
