I'm another who has their numbers (this is a business after all!) on TPS and yet am called by these people several times a day.  This afternoon's tally - and I do mean only this afternoon - runs at twice on one number, once on another number and I've today switched the third number to silent as I cannot answer it anyway (it is a fax direct into the computer!) so I've no idea how many times it has been called, it's usually been around the same as the number which received two calls this afternoon already.
Really fed up with them.

Call received from this number this afternoon, no message left so I await the next call! Yes, we are on TPS and although it has stopped some cold calls there are still far too many companies ignoring it. So annoying

This is another of the British scammers always looking to catch vulnerable people unawares, using different numbers trying to make you part with your money under any guise imaginable.
I called them and a lady mentioned 2 different companies not sure which of them they would have called me from. The government allows them to carry on with these nuisance calls without regard for the psychological impact on the populace probably because their owners are friends with politicians.

Concur with all other posts about this number. However, rep from ICO on BBC breakfast today stated they required 100 complaints before they'd consider action. For using unsolicited lists of personal numbers they should be prosecuted under the data protection act, which carries higher penalties such as prison!

Had the "falcon and pointer" recorded message , so I pressed 5 to get an operator and they answered as "Capital Increase Ltd".

When they asked if I had any PPI etc I said no, and they asked why did I press 5
- so I said "just to waste your time" hehe

No, TPS doesn't cover recorded messages, but ICO would be very interested to hear about them.  Today, they have actually announced a fine to a serial offender bombarding phones with recorded messages: Glasgow-based Home Energy & Lifestyle Management Ltd has been fined £200,000; sadly not the company I've had to report to them on numerous occasions.  Thanks for info on Media Tactics.

Yep, had a recorded message from these about bank charges. Perhaps they think by not withholding their number and by declaring their address they'll be exempt from ICO action - I don't think so.  An unsolicited cold call to a TPS registered number.  Or perhaps its scammers disguising their number and giving misinformation about the company/address.

I've had several calls from these particular scammers over the last few days, the last one 35 minutes ago.
I don't see much point in reporting them to the ICO who seem a completely ineffectual body.  Indeed the fact that these scammers don't even try to hide their number illustrates the confidence they have that the UK is safe for fraudsters.   Rather than contacting the ICO I would propose deluging our MP's with complaints to induce the government to take some serious action against phone scammers in general to close them down with punitive fines.

Multiple calls, never answered it but is a nuisance call.

Report to ICO rather than TPS.  If they're not a member of Direct Marketing Assoc they're unlikely to abide by TPS principles.  ICO more likely to be able to take legal action if we all complain to them.

If we all report to ICO then they may finally take action - need about 100 complaints to start to consider investigation.  Kissick, Winchester et all seem to think  £200k to another company announced today is no deterrent.

The following number 01600469009 called me today. "They" swiftly & silently put the phone down on me once I said "hello" which I found awfully rude!
I responded by shouting a swear word to the dead line (which I find helps) & proceeded to place number on my blocked list.
