A call from this no. just received - started a recorded message about "your mis-sold bank account package" ... I hung up. However, I've been called by whoever it is before - and I'm registered with the TPS.

This call comes through daily. Pre-recorded message from Falcon and Pointer about banking. Pain in the neck. Reporting to ICO, if enough people report this nuisance call then the ICO are bound to do something......

CABOT who is a debt collector,debt sold to them by Lloyds bank to which I am paying by standing order, but they are harassing me on :  03450702615 or 08009172225,  I just do not answer my phone now.

They called twice within an hour. Apparently we have been mis-sold something or other. You had to press 9 so they would not contact you again, but they did.What a pain!

Calls from these people day after day, getting sick of these nuisance calls. can't even answer my phone anymore. I have been with the TPS for several years and checked that I am still registered so why aren,t these calls stopped. Very stressed. Supposedly something related to banking. Idiots

TPS represents bona fide reputable UK-based firms who abide by a voluntary code of conduct undertaking to not make marketing & sales calls to those who opt out; while these rissoles at falcon & pointer are based in the UK, by their behaviour I believe they are not reputable and would have nothing to do with their firm.

TPS doesn't block calls.  Only reputable UK companies sign up and agree not to call registered numbers.  Any calls from UK based companies should be reported to them.  Unfortunately, just to prove that they are actually useless, they only deal with calls where there is a person on the other end of the 'phone and you need the name and address of the company before you can report them.  You should therefore report calls from UK companies to the Information Commissioner's Office.  The ICO has the power to fine nuisance callers up to £500,000.  A couple of weeks ago they fined   a Sottish Solar Panel company £220,000 for making these calls.  It is worth doing.

landline call blocker intercepted this call and blocked them. They decided to ring back on a sunday night for some bizarre reason. Seach reveals bogus debt agency and reports of automated messages. Number originates from Wales, blame the welsh...

Buy a call blocking phone. Theyre the same price as conventional landline phones now, they have more blacklist features than most mobile phones. Please do yourself a favour and help end the madness.

This number is being used by low life conmen. Do not answer this number.

Yet another recorded message call from Falcon & Pointer today despite asking several times to be removed from their calling list. Seems to be a daily practice now so reported again to ICO. I have also asked Swansea Trading Standards if they can take local action against this public nuisance.

This caller calls everyday sometimes more than once. Fortunately we have a phone that blocks unwanted calls.

In the last month (19/09 - 18/10) my elderly mother has received 5 calls from this number. I have a filtering system in place so unspecified numbers can't get through unless they contact me for a code - these scum even had a go a guessing the code...! It is interesting to look at the number of scammers that try to get through to her: 48 in the last month! I LOATHE THESE SCUM!

Recorded message about claiming from your bank for a 'fee' account.   I went through to talk to someone, and they are in Cardiff, but couldn't tell me where they got my number from.  Told me the only way I could obtain that information was to email the data manager.   I refused, said they called me, so someone there should know.   He said he didn't have a superior in the office, they was no-one higher than him to be transfered to.  Funnily enough after they called me twice a day for what felt like weeks, they have now stopped.

Well, a Victory people! Falcon and Pointer have had their licence removed at was announced on Radio 4 today. Let's not feel too sad for the call centre staff who were no doubt exploited by the directors will little hope of decent jobs; no doubt they are still employed by alternative companies run by Messrs Andrew Kissick and Ben Winchester et al. I won't be resting until I hear they have been locked up for their crimes against society.

DirtyDen - There' s a lot of people hoping for that day, I don't know how Winchester keeps getting away with it. Look at what the regulator said - The firm set out to “plague the public and rip off consumers” Surely the police can do something?
