I keep getting calls from this number too but I would not mind but it is my broadband number they are calling, suddenly private telephones are no longer private says a lot for this country we live in.

Got a call from 01606595892, not available to call into.  Tried the number listed as main number below (01606591565) which has been changed to 01606336400 and got through to someone who told me it was a sales call regarding house insurance.  Very helpful, she said I could have my number removed from their database in the morning.
We'll see!!!........

Why am I doing this?

Because I am quite happy to call people who genuinly want our stuff but am fed up with the s**t we get because Simon keeps getting us to call the same people over and over again.

employee of the month good on ya.....i was in your position a few years ago and its not enough that you have to deal with the abuse from people on the phone but you have to take Simon and Mandies constant crap.

This number has rung me every day for over a week and a half now, they ring at least 20+ times a day only let it ring for 2-3 rings, if i do answer it no ones on the other end, ive had calls as late as 9pm and they often ring every 5 mins within a space of 20-30 mins, then they dont ring for an hour or so and then they start again, i wish they would leave me alone.

Pain in the back side.  They just hang up.

The strange thing is that when I try to call the number back I get a message saying the number is not recognised !

I bet it's an outgoing calls only number.

Fill her inbox with empty emails or perhaps we could call them "silent emails" as her firm is so fond of making "silent calls".

i used to get calls from this other number 01606595892 and one day i told them to ( f  off)) and they stopped but now a few weeks later they have started again FROM A DIFFERENT NUMBER....... watch out for silent calls from this number also people;;;;;;01606459834!!!!

It is 6 times in 2 days now.

The autodialler must be really broken, or they are a scam.

Fortunately I have a small PBX and can bar the number.

I found a page on the OFCOM website where you can report the silent calls.

You need to hit continue, say you have dialled 1471 and got the number and you get a form to complain.

it doesnt make a difference about the reporting of the silent calls, they ignore them to be honest, its just like tps they dont go to extreme lengths to stop them

I received a call from this company last night. The lady who first spoke told me they got the number from a database. When I spoke to a supervisor she told me a the person they had asked for had "recently" filled out a survey asking for more details of life insurance. The supervisor then refused to answer the following questions.
1. Are they in the habit of offering life insurance to people who have been dead for 2 years.
2. Was the survey filled out with the help of a medium?
3. Could she give her definition of the word recently?
When I told her that during the call I had found this site with 15 pages of complaints she said "does that mean you are not interested in life insurance from us"

These people have been calling me for the past week n my work number, I've had dozen's of missed calls from them and whenever I do manage to answer the ohone the line goes dead.  This is my work number which very few people have, bizarre!

I just rang 01606 336 400 and asked them to take my number off the database.  Let's see shall we ........

Just looked on the Companies House web site and it shows that Amanico's accounts are overdue.

I haven't had a call yet from this company, but the continuing saga of the owners etc, has kept me glued!!!!! Can't wait for the next instalement!!!!!!!!!!!

thats actually a very good observation gruesome. but a bit too toned down for my liking.

i was reading on here the other day about someone threatening another with legal action, i would like to say I myself am a law student and I can tell you now that you would not have a leg to stand on, people are allowed to express their opinion and as this is a website for such things, they are entitled to freedom of speech.
No such case would make it to court and in relation to the act you mentioned, you do not seem to be harrassed on this site, you only seem to dislike what is being said
