Just had a call from these but didn't answer, getting sick of them now. They called the other evening and my husband answered, they asked for me and when he realised it was those jokers who told them i was out at work. They said they didn't believe him 'how could he only just realise i was working late, does he not know where his wife is' !!!!! I was just hoping that they get the message but after reading all these messages I might try a few tricks like leaving the line open everytime the ring.

keep getting calls from this number - the reason it keeps going dead is that they seem to be using an automatic dialer, so it is constantly ringing numbers on its data base (normally from some survey or other that has been completed, the only calls that will be answered will be ones where there is an advisor available, the others get cut off and so it starts again.  

I advise registering with TPS - www.mpsonline.org.uk/tps/ all companies who are outbounding should check all numbers with this organisation before making any calls.  If calls are made to numbers registered with TPS then they can be prosecuted.   DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM IF THEY SAY THIS DOESNT APPLY TO THEM!!!  It does and it will cost them a lot of money if they are found guilty.

I always tell anyone who cold calls me that the call is being recorded (you have to do this as soon as they answer) and they soon go away, another way to get rid of them is to pass them over to a small child who will love to speak to them for ages!!

and to remove your number they want you to ring an 0845 cheeky sods

Only had one unsolicited call from them so far.  Fortunately I was out at the time.  Hope someone gets around to stopping them whoever they may be.

So annoying - missed a call. Thought it was a customer!! But no. Whata waste of time. I am infuriated.

This number has been calling every hour or two for two days now, and they are never there when we answer the phone.

I'm reporting them to BT.

yep they've started phoning me too - seems they are really going for it.
i answer and all i hear is office noise - no one speaks - real pain.
we are also exdirectory - at least i know now its nothing important now ive seen all these comments.

just saw the above message regarding TPS - im actually registered with them, and they still got through - this company is DESPERATE!!!!

rang the above number back after a min i got a answer phone that advised to have your number deleted call 0845 0560451 called the number and entered my number assures me number will be deleted from there records within 24hours. we shall see!!

i had 3 calls yesterday and 3 call today and its only 10.15 am asking for my other half when i asked if i could take a message they told me no and when does my house insurance run out told them i didnt want a quote but hay hoe theyve just rang again

This number phoned me yesterday I said I couldn't discuss things like this now as my mum was in hospital, I ended up telling them that I was going to put the phone down as they tried to high pressure me into an appointment at 9 last night, I ended up putting the phone down.

They rang straight back up, apologised for getting cut off (o for gods sake) and again insisted on making an appointment for a phone call at 9, I said no the phone didn't get cut off I put it down as I had told them I was going to be I didn't have the time for that sort of crap at a time like this, to get the responce "We'll call you tonight at 9 then" I told them high pressure would not work with me and put the phone down again.

They've called twice again today, when I call back to make an official complaint no answer. TUT bunch of [***]

just rung that number purple gave and an automated voice tells me i have been removed from their cal list- fingers crossed! Wish i had the time to oy with them but unforunately not lol!

They have called me from this number and also a mobile number a few weeks ago. Again, apparently I agreed to get a quote on life assurance. Not. They did introduce them selves as Financial Connections on each occasion.

Have been called twice today(06/02/2008) and answerphone kicked in. No message left but sounded like a Pub or Call Centre.

I just had a missed call from this number on my mobile and thought I would search it on the internet to see who it was.  I am glad I did as now I know who they are thanks guys!!  I will not be calling this number back or answering their calls/
