i had a call from these on 21st january they just hung up i thought it might have been due to the noise in the background as we were trying to stop the second lot of flooding n there were jcbs around but by reading these comments it seems not so who are they n y do they hang up? where do they get our numbers from?

I don`t know how people can work for companies like this. Even if I was down to my last penny I wouldnt lower myself to doing this annoying job. I try and cost them mone by asking them to hold while I get the person they ask for, then I see how long it taks to hang up.

haha, they just called me again, I recognised number, picked up phone and said "good afternoon, financial connections, how may I help you". Totally threw the girl on the phone. After speaking to the 'supervisor' my details are being removed from the system!

just had these w*****s on the phone, wouldnt mind if they actually spoke!damn them, im registered with tps and actually a TSO!!! theyve peed of the worng person!!!!!

Pain in the [***] 4 calls from this number in last 24 hours/ just hangs up as soon as I answer it

they are gettin on my tits keep ringin,my advise is lead them on keep them talkin,act dumb or something,the least you can do is play em up,ive had a little fun with them.

I have been getting numerous calls as well - I never answer my phone so it is their total waste of time - I do not care if they are legal or not - and if they are why don't they leave a message

I have had 3 missed calls so far today, when I do get to speak to someone I will let them tell me all their bulls**t and lead them on somewhat and also take their contact name , if I need to call them about anything I am not sure about......tee hee!!
Then when they have handed over their details I can call after 6pm, cos it is free for me and start to wind them up, also get some more contact names too, which I will post on this forum for everyone else to use and hopefully tie up their call centre. Ahh payback time is coming soon!!!!

I just received a phone call from this number and there was a woman on the other end of the phone talking about getting vodka or something she obviously was talking to some one else and not directly to me. once I said hello who is this ? they hung up.

I just had a missed call on my mobile from this number, aren't i glad i looked it up on here before trying to call back. I am also ex-directory and the only thing i have done differently recently is send my C.V to about a dozen different companies, could this be the reason why?

They have called me a few times too, some of these companies have an instant ringback service so it calls your phone automatically even when they are on another call etc. that is why noone is on the other end sometimes.

Financial Connections rang my number and asked to speak to my daughter by name this evening and I wanted to know who they were because she is only 15! I asked how they got her info and this Katy said my daughter had filled in an online questionaire wanting insurance. Having spoken to my daughter she has not filled in any info online!  I explained her age and she said she would not call again and apologised.  Annoyed I rang 1471 to find out who they were and finally got an answer when I called them.  An automated message said they would get back to me but if I wanted my number removed to ring this number : 0845 0560451. This i've done and hopefully won't get another call. Hope this helps others.

I have not yet managed to speak to the compnay that are phoning they phoned yesterday when i was at work 5 times!! They just woke me up on my day off!! My mum shouts from downstairs "phone michelle, i think its the financial company that where trying to get you all day yesterday" so i picked up the phone and as soon as i said hello, they cut off!!
Next time they ring im going to make them wish they never phoned me!!
