You replied to the question "by someone of 16?" as "to someone of under 18?". Perhaps you should be a little more careful and less hasty, ie more professional.

"proffesional". I'm all for individual initiative, but dictionaries tend to agree that it's "professional". Same applies to "slag of" or "slag off", "owneres", or "owners", as the dictionaries would tend to suggest. And there is general agreement that "youre" and "there", as you mean it, would usually be "you're" and "they're", and "id" should be "I'd". Perhaps you should vastly improve your academic qualifications by resitting GCSE English in a few years.

"It effectively shows your age". Well you are the ones who have a policy of employing kids. No doubt they come cheap and are easily sackable - something which potential customers of aMANICo will wish to bear in mind. Personally, I think it's entirely laudable [big word, look it up, Russell] that young people should stand up for themselves, rather than be silently exploited by greedy grasping and unethical employers like aMANICo. "Put up or shut up" always was the language of such employers. I'll be happy to supply advice on how to set up a trade union in aMANICo, which will neither put up nor shut up.

And I doubt if YOUR balls have descended yet.

I'd like to return to a comment posted earlier: "....When you consider an insurance contract is based on utmost trust...". That is a very fair point. "In utmost trust" or "in utmost good faith" or "in uberrima fide" (for those who prefer the Latin) always has been at the heart of insurance business.

But what have we here? A company, aMANICo, who get personal details in utmost bad faith. You fill in some online questionnaire, which does not make it by any means clear that your details will be supplied to aMANICo. You may have registered with the TPS, but aMANICo have a legal get out. Somewhere in the small print, which you never noticed, you agreed to supply your details to aMANICo. So they can phone you. "Utmost good faith?": hardly.

Moving on from the customers, we now have the employees. Most kids know that cold calling isn't exactly fun. But aMANICo tell their youthful interviewees that is isn't cold calling, relying on the legal get out I mention above. "LIARS" is how one employee described that, and it's hard to disagree. "I will not lie to you. It's awful" from another employee. Sounds pretty genuine to me. And how does aMANICo recruit employees? "Utmost good faith": hardly.

If aMANICo finds its potential customer details, and recruits its potential staff by such bad faith devices, why would anyone want to have any dealings - "in utmost good faith" - with them? I certainly won't.

McDonalds for example, crap wages, promises of a career, antisocial hours, no union, less wages. Other explotative companies, tescos, asda, aldi, I could go on. All have MUCH worse records than AMANICO.

Personally I think people beginning a career or young people should know there place non of this "everone is equal" crap. Unions are useless. Having some balls & getting on with the job, however is useless.

You obviously got your "degree" in one of these non-subjects (Hons in Jigsaw Puzzles with Toilet Paper Design) from one of these new establishments that no-one has ever heard of: The "University" of South West Barsetshire or some such. My three degrees are from distinctly older established (1451 was the oldest) and more respected outfits. Hence I can spell.

Thank you, however, for one thing. A recent CBI report expressed alarm at the number of "graduates" who can't spell. I really couldn't believe that any "graduate", in any discipline, couldn't do something as basic as spell the English language correctly. Assuming your academic claims are not as inflatedly flatulent as everything else about you, you have proved me wrong. Congratulations, but no congratulations.

I note that you wish to compare yourself with McJobs et al. You said it, I didn't. As I have remarked before, one of the joys of corresponding with you is that the more you deny, the more you admit. Now would you like to compare yourself with a reputable employer in the insurance field?

Wow!  Looks like some pretty funny things have been going on in my absence!  Bob believing he's replying to me, yet has little to say from his imaginary linguistic colleagues that my comments sound nothing like the ones on here that he reckons I've posted.  I chose not to go to University actually Bob because I believe its a waste of time and money.  Everybody has degrees now so I'm not really impressed that you've got 3.  They're becoming worthless so I thought rather than spending 3+ years getting one, I'd go straight into work.

Yet again, the majority of your argument is based on people making spelling mistakes.  I notice, however, that you don't point them out when other people do it, and these people obviously have children, hinting they are older with perhaps higher status jobs?  What do you say to them then Bob?  Are you going to tell them they have a crap education aswell?  It'd be only fair after all.

I dislike every thing that I know about this company. I can advise that the police have been in contact with their MD as a result. If you phone 01606336400 and ask them to remove your details they will do this. I have not had a call for over one week so it does appear to work.

Made some checks via Companies House website then the FSA website and found the telephone number of the "owner" who happened to be a very polite lady
who took my details and has promised to remove me from the database on Friday.

If this does not happen then I shall report them to both Companies House and the FSA as the company trading details and licences do not match.

I look forward to an uninterupted sleep after nightshift now.

Tip one speak to them and ask for your number to be removed.
Tip two take down the details of the person you speak to and time date time.
Tip three ensure you find out how they got your details, even if you are on tps, tps is invalid if you have recently agreed to be contacted.
Tip four, if you then receive a further call this will be deemed as harasment
Tip four contact DMA / Ofcom / TPS. You can also start procedings in the small claims court.
Tip five get a drect number of the owner / senior manager and start entering this on as many sites as possible.

hiya every1, i work for amanico and would like to say that its not the staff who dial the numbers its the automatic dialling system, so next time u get a call ask to b taken off our database (it does take 24 hours), or just ask to speak to a supervisor as we will all be willing to transfer u to one if u would like to complain officially, instead of moaning on here. otherwise we will b speaking again very soon, when we call you again!!!
