Report a phone call from 01606595892 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.

- J LoughMy husband took a call last night saying that I'd enquired about life assurance, which I haven't. As we were eating and he hadn't realised they were a cold caller, he asked them to call back in 20 minutes, which they didn't.
Just had another call, which hung up a few seconds after I answered.
I've reported the number to the telephone preference service, with which I'm registered. - MSWhat a nightmare, they keep calling every bloody day, It's driving me made. How much is their phone bill costing them!!

- CFI have had several calls with increasing volume over the past week. I tried to report it to BT and they told me there was nothing they could do because apparently it's not a BT number!!!! It's driving me crazy because when you pick it up, it goes dead and like a lot of other people I think it's my disabled mother in law, trying to ring me because she needs help.

- CheetsI've had calls from these people for the last month which my partner has fielded as I have been out. I will always put the phone down on a caller who does not respond straight away which is how these machines work.
I've just had two this morning as i'm off work today so it looks like a complaint to the Caller Preference Service is in order now I know who this company is as I refuse to ring an 0845 number.
To those emplyees of the company who are complaining about the harsh treatment on this site about "only doing your job" I would say to you get another job, you don't have to do this. You are making people miserable. - ClownTo - "Its going to be quiet" - If you are going to use a title for me, I respectfully request that you use "Ms" Clown, as I am, in fact, a woman. Ignoring the fact that I am really quite insulted that you automatically assume that I am a man, you should know that if you do choose to just leave the phone while you watch a load of rubbish on tv, we will hang up on you. No questions asked, thats all there is to it. You really think that we'd just wait for you to make your return? You. Wish. That would seriously affect our wrap time, which would, in turns, affect our bonus, so Not. A. Chance.
To "Disgruntled" - I apologise. Believe me, we hate the automatic dialler almost as much as you do. Its a nightmare as we have no control what-so-ever sa to who we call, and when it has a bug in the system. . . Well, lets just not go there. Sorry again!!
Finally, to "Cheets" - Hate to break it to you, but it aint all that easy to find another job with as flexible hours, good pay, and great working environment. Confined to college as we are, we do need a job that will work aroud that, and still pay enough to fund our busses/driving lessons, much needed nights out, cigarettes for the smokers among us, etc etc. As Im sure you must know also. And as for making people miserable, well, I've had more than my fair share of rude customers who have done their utmost to make me miserable, and there have been several more who were all too happy with our services, so stop commenting on something you know very little about.
Regards, MS Clown- Caller: Financial Connections
- swampbeastieThe alligators are partial to clowns of whatever gender......Why won't one of you talk to me instead of the phone going dead all the time?
- Jandy123In answer to the suggestion that the calls are 'warm' ie. made to people who have given their details online or in a survey, I keep getting calls from the number concerned, asking for a woman who used to have my telephone number THREE YEARS AGO. Why would she be filling in surveys requesting quotes and giving the wrong number if she really wanted quotes? And why, when I tell them each and every time, very nicely, that she doesn't have the number any more and their data is three years out of date, am I still getting calls for her? My husband used to work preparing data for reputable call centres to use and he says decent data companies go to great lengths to remove ex-directory, tps and under-age numbers from their lists. No reputable company wants to be associated with this sort of cowboy operation. They have obviously bought a very dodgy data list from one of the freebie sites or competition sites on the internet. They probably do employ poor little students earning a crust, because they are a bad employer doing a shoddy job, ignoring the rules for their line of work and annoying the heck out of people. If those students were being employed to pester people in the street for money to earn a crust would they still think the rest of us should put up with it repeatedly? I suggest you ask which company they are calling on behalf of ( insurance mobile phone or whatever) and then ring the Data Manager for that company and give them hell! Not only will the calls instantly be stopped, but you stand a good chance of the dodgy call centre losing all their clients and going out of business.
- Kent ManI've just discovered this site and the thread concerning Financial Connexions. The company has been calling for the past month or so, asserting that I've completed a survey which has asked whether I'd be interested in receiving life insurance quotations (or similar). I have not - I'm simply too busy to complete surveys via post, e-mail, online or telephone.
The calls come regularly, at all times of the day and evening. I've answered a couple of them, and explained that I did not wish to receive any further calls and that they are breaking the TPS and Information Commissioner regulations. I spoke with a supervisor - Zoey - who said it must have been a slip-up on their system and she'd make sure that IT know to remove my number. It will be interesting to see what happens.
In the meantime, I have registered a complaint with the TPS.
If there are staff from Financial Connexions reading this, might I suggest that you show your managers this website and the (currently) seven pages of grumbling UK residents? They really ought to know that an increasing number of the country's residents will never, ever want to deal with Financial Connexions. It might also be of interest to the Financial Services Authority...- Caller: Financial Connexions
