- not f **ing clowni have 2 kids of 4 and 6 who go to bed at 7.00pm everynight my son who is 4 is very ill at moment reasons i wouldnt go into and no i dont want life insurance for him and so needs his sleep well for last 7 days i have had calls from 01606595892 every 30 mins up until 9 at night waking both my children up. when i answer the phone after 1 ring or 5 it always goes dead. how can you clown justify that . yes i know you need a job but how about doing your job and talking on phone. if you are told they dont want your advice the f**k off as we have lives , children who need looking after and cannot be on phone all day , or having it just ring all day. and can u tell me y i should have to pay to have my number taken off when that money could be used for my kids. how about u take it from ur wages and you pay as ur the problem. and its easy to put it down to supervisor aint it , i bet you dont tell ppl if they want details removed to speak to them. your excuses are all well and good and its ok for u to have a dig at the ppl on here for moaning about u doing ur job but just think what other problems ppl are going through , without u phoning every half hour, not even once a day ,but 40 times a day. i love to have u clown standing in front of me telling me your just doing ur job cos i no u wouldnt be standing for long.
- A NONI am a Said employee of this company and understand Where you come from, as i personnally do not like ringing people up when there children are in bed, and when ever im using the phone if they explain calmly and collectivley the situation, i apoligise and answer any questions they may have, the key for people who do not like these call's is not to be presumptious, if you jump to conclusions calling people a liar which i have lots of times before i get very annoyed and that obviously becomes apparent in the conversations with other people after wards which is not what i want, even if you have come off a 12 hour shift at work or are absolutley tired, just basic manners will make are jobs easier, i possibley cannot comment on my fellow peers behaviour while on the phones all i can say is i apoligise on behalf as it is only a minority that don not take there job seriously, where as i a student aswell to continue an earlier point made on this site, am learning from this experiance and what im learning is that people who are calm and dont snap at people will be dealt with easier as when we say we apoligise for the phone call if you are sure you havent answerd a survey then we mean it. and to reply to not f **ing clown, calm down if you explained the situation (not iun detail just explaining your children are in bed) and you have not answerd any servey then we would be most responsive to your problem and either resolve it either with I or a shift supurviser or some one further up the management system and to insinuate that you would physically knock the clown out then, i ask you this, read this and learn now matter how stressed you get how low you feel, people are in the same position as you it can be a completely different issue but still if that was a docter talking to you on a phone you would be polite and curtious, so why not give that a chance and if thats not the case and some one is rude to you on the phone then demand to speak to there supurvisor or if they call back after which is highly probable then say you were spoken to badly before and would like to talk to your supurvisor.
thank you
A NON
PLEASE NOTE THE VIEWS EXPRESSED IN THIS MESSAGE ARE NOT THAT OF FINANCIAL CONNEXTIONS OR ITS AFFILIATED PARTIES AND THE VIEWS EXPRESSED ARE THAT SOLEY OF A NON AND NOT THAT OF THE COMPANY THAT WORKS ON BEHALF OF FINANCIAL CONNEXTIONS. - A.nonymousHi all,
I used to work for this company and trust me they buy the data and ring every number in the database trying to convince these people they have asked for life insurance. It is to help them get quotes so the company can actually make a profit that is not spent on the bosses drug habit.
The company is a wreck and she has resorted to employing kids because nobody wants to work there.
Just say you would not want life insurance from a company that does not have one left much longer.- Caller: Amanico
- MandieI didn't recognise the number when they first rang so I didn't answer it. When I rang back to see who it was I just got an engaged tone, so I tried another couple of times and it was always engaged. That number they give you to remove your number is a load of crap. I rang it and gave them my mobile number. They have phoned me five times today already, twice yesterday, twice the day before. Fortunately I have my mobile on silent while I'm at work A guy I used to work with would moo down the phone when he got cold calls, I might just try that! They are now listed in my phone as Spam, so I know who they are when they call.
- BettyEveryday I have this call. Sometime in the evening too. If I picked up they are hanging. Another time I picked up the phone and as soon as I said Hello, Who is speaking ?, they cut off. And after that I did not pick up because I didn't recognize the number. Thanks everyone, now I know to block or ignore this call!
- DominiqueI have also received calls from this number, however, as I have a display type phone, I do not answer numbers which I do not recognise. I have just been on the Telephone Preference Service website and it is possible to register with them. This does cut down a large number of unsolicited calls but unfortunately some still get through. I don't have any answers as to how to get rid of them......
- cheesey[***] been ringing all day annoying what can i do
- gemwe have recieved several calls from this number and they hang up everytime i have kids so its very annoying!
- Caller: no idea
- Clownnot f **ing clown - I am most sincerely sorry for any troubles that you may be having at home, particularly with your four year old being ill, and while I do realise that these calls cannot help your situation, I must point out that venting your rage on the individuals who work at this company will not help your situation either. A NON is quite right in saying that you would be much better helped by keeping calm, and explaining your situation to the operator. You can then ask to speak to a superviser who will take the necessary details in order to take your information off of the database so that you will no longer be troubled by these calls.
Simply shouting and swearing at the operators who, no matter what your situation is and who dont actually know of it, are still ONLY TRYING TO DO THEIR JOBS will not help in the slightest. Our staff are not payed to suffer abuse from the likes of yourself, and I cannot condone that in any situation. Many of us have also had little sleep, long and stressful days, but we will always do our best to remain polite and respectful toward our customers, however, if you do resort to rude and offensive language, we will have no choice but to warn you of our actions, and if you do not consequently modify your languae, hang up. Im sorry, but that is the way it is. We cannot be expected to know anything about your home life other than what information we have in front of us, abusing us because of something which is out of our control will do you no good, and threatening me because I come on this website to defend my collegues and myself from the constant abuse that we are recieving on this website is nothing short of immature.
And as for A.nonymous, well, you cant have been working here recently, the company is actually doing very well at the moment, all of the information is completely legitimate; we are not 'cold-calling' as you seem to imply. The information has either been taken from surevys which have been sent to us by other companys, and which we have, as stated, payed for, (how else can other businesses survive except for the exchange of money, everyone knows that by now, or at least, they should.) The other possibility is that the information has been sent through an interlink whilst the customer has been browsing for insurance on the internet. Of course, we would explain that, except that it takes far too long for the customer to sit still without interrupting, I know from personal exparience.
Clown.
(And not f **ing clown, personally, I would love to see you try to knock me down. I may not excell physically, but when angered, I can hold me own. And you have rather upset me with your derigatory comments toward myself and my collegues. Give it up already. This is one argument that you cannot win, physically OR verbally.)- Caller: Financial Connections.
- laineyi work for the said company
and i can understand your comments
but "not f**king clown" makeing threats
it doesnt make us all very happy
if you are polite and tell us you do not
want life insurance
we will gladly take you off the system
its not nice to make threats to people that
you dont even know
maybe if some of you that are in during the day actually got a job
you would not have us bothering you - ClownI have thought further about the matter at hand, and have also been chatting to Lainey, who happens to be on the same shift as me at this point, and we have come upon a very interesting topic here. How many of you people on this website complain daily about the number of "dolies" out there, who "sit around doing nothing all day eating up the taxpayers money."
Serously, be honest with yourselves, how many of you do that?
And now tell me that you would rather that the workers here sat around each and every day doing nothing and still getting money for it? I mean, there just aren't enough jobs in this area to keep us all, for some, we would prefer not to work here but are left with no choice because of the limited amount of jobs in this area. So we choose to take the high road, and earn an honest living doing something, rather than relying on government handouts, and yet we still suffer through daily abuse and the same amount of persecution that many people who are on the dole do, and yet we rarely complain about it. My previous comments may not support this statement, but I post here to defend myself and my collegues against the daily abuse that we are recieving on this website, (and yes, I do still consider this to be abuse, even if it is not always directly aimed at us. How would you feel if you found a website filled with negative comments directed at your place of work and friends? Not very happen, Id think, so why should we have to suffer in silence?)
Clown
(No offense to anybbody on the dole, Im sure that the majority of you sre struggling to find a job as much as I have in the past. Good luck with that, though, and Im sorry if I have caused any offense or hurt. This post wasn't intended for that. xx)- Caller: Financial Connections
- laineyi totally agree with clown
we dont start abusing your place of work or your collegues
we would all appriciate more possitive comments im sure
we dont chose to call you the computer does
if you feel that you are being unfairly called
let us know
and if you wish to speak to our supervisor
we will gladly pass you on to one of them
we are all just trying to earn a living here
so then we can maje sure that we have well earned
money in our pockets by the end of the week
thankyou for expressing your opinions
but i much prefer positive comments
thankyou
lainey
