Every day i keep getting the call that rings off when I answer it

me too. I spoke to the manager there called alan around 5pm today. I wasn't happy about BMS calling me all the time. He explained what they do and said he'd remove my number from their system. He was actually a really sound guy. I'm gonna register with the TPS. it's the best way to avoid nuisance calls. on a final note, not sure about them being dodgy though. checked them out properly and they're a kosher company. only thing is they don't sell iphones. lol

Got a phone call today for the first time, they just hung up.I am not so bothered about them ringing me,I am more bothered if they start ringing my kids mobiles they are 12 and 14 years old. Surely there is something somebody can do to stop this.

I had my first call from this number, just hung up when I picked it up. I've been getting a lot of dodgy calls from people claiming to be from 3.  My current contract is nearing the end.  I don't give out this number I only use it to make business calls and my caller id is permenantly blocked. I also joined TPS.  It seems to me that 3 are giving or selling our details to these dodgy people. 3 should be made to stop this practice.

After finding the number on this site I rejected a call from them a week ago and haven't been rung by them since.

After being repeatedly 'drop-called' by this number I have started getting my own back. Simply text the number back with whatever message. At the other end it will ring and they have to waste THEIR time answering it and listening to the message. I'm sure after a number of these they will stop this nonsensical 'drop-calling'....

I've just had a call from this number. Trying to sell me a phone contract. I'm with 3 so that may be where they got the number from.

I received call from this number 3 times and never have chances to talk with anyone.It's may be a trick.

I have just missed a call from them. Figured I'd call them from my work line. I spoke to a guy to whom I complained and I asked him to remove my number from their list. He said ok but didn't ask for my #.
SMS, if you think they're legit, why do they hang up when they call people? And why are they so cagey when you speak to them?

I think I am just going to complain to Ofcom, like it or not, SMS!

This number has rung me six times now, for the first three times I answered it and they hung-up, so now I just ignore it hoping they'll get the message!

I answered a call from this number last week (at 9pm!).  A guy offered to upgrade my 3G service - I'm not with 3G.  I told him it was inappropriate for him to be calling me at 9 in the evening and to not call again.  Since then I've been getting calls from the same number twice a day.  When I answer, they hang up.  I called the number back and it goes straight to a BMS answering service.  So irritating!  Will ignore calls from now on.

SMS-Scam or not, when you answer they hang up and when you return the call, you can't get through, it is no wonder that many people find this incredibly frustrating.... I have signed up to TPS so hopefully this will resolve the issue. I'm also going to register my disappointment with Three, as it seems many calls are to customers of Three. I suggest everyone else does the same.

Have received many calls from this number, once a day on average.  Have never answered so far - upon Googling the number, it mentions about mobile phone scams.  Very very annoying.  Never answer a number I don't recognize.  If somebody wants to get in touch with me badly enough, then they will leave a message.

Called me twice today, when I called back they hung up. Massively irritating.

this [***] keeps ringing me every dayyyyy no joke i miss it all the time i ring back and it puts me onto bms customer service LIKE WHAT THE [***] its pissing me off

got the same call but missed it.. thought it might've been something important so i googled  the number just to make sure lol, and found this!! now i know its not something to waste my credit on. thanks for the info guys. =)

This has been going on for about two weeks for me now. Three calls yesterday and five today. I've been on the TPS for ages but that hasn't stopped them. Nor do they get the idea that if I don't answer then I don't want to talk to them.

I'm on T-Mobile PAYG - so they must just be guessing at phone numbers.

STOP THESE IDIOTS KEEP HARASSING PEOPLE. CALLING THEM AND  THEN HANGING UP AS SOON AS YOU ANSWER. TELL THEM TO GET A LIFE AND GET  REAL JOBS
