This company have called me twice a day for the past week.  I rang them back this evening and they said they were offering a special deal to customers on the 3 network (I'm on Orange, which seemed to surprise them).   Told them I wasn't interested and asked them not to call again.  See also 01612335844 - same company apparently.

They haven't stopped calling, so I've complained to Ofcom.  I suggest anyone else getting silent calls / instant hang-ups from them does the same as they are in clear breach of Ofcom's regulations.  Use this form:

Has anyone checked their phone bill when they call the number back - perhaps this is part of the scam, make us all soooo mad we call em back and get charged !

one day i had four calls from that number never answered or rejected them just ignored them cuz i knew it was probably a scam .which it is . best not to answer it it can cost u.

I received a call from this number to my mobile at 20:47 last night, but wasn't around to pick it up. When I called it around 15 minutes ago using SkypeOut on my computer (08:20ish), I hit an ansafone message saying "Thank you for calling lovemarmalade.com" (sic), after which they stated that their offices were open between 10:00 and 19:00. It's a Manchester number, and I sure won't be waiting up for their next call given what I've read about them here.

Regarding my handset upgrade and other contract detai;s

Jus got another call right now.

They were saying how i have been over spending, spending £40 on my contract where by bill was £30 ;; these people are dodgy and if it wasn't for this forum, i would have probably continued to discuss my contract with them ;;

and they say they are from 3 mobile ;; the person i spoke to was stupid he kept on saying ok excellent ,, i told him my handesty was giving me problems and he said ok excellent.

My contract is due for renewal and I'm getting calls from 01612361088 also.
Why don't we all at least answer the call then hang up? We might as well cost these companies money!!!! If we answer then they will get charged for being connected.

kept ringing me. missed the first time so i re-dialed to find an automatic service line.
later last night, they rang again, and i picked up. by the sounds of things they were trying to sell something, but i didnt give them the chance to get their point across. I just asked for them to stop ringing me, and they said they would.
