They've called me several times this week saying that're from 3 Mobile, asked for all my details, when it came to my bank details i stopped. Phoned 3 and they have no record. Have repoerted to Police and have an incident number just in case of identity fraud.

since 3 weeks ago Got a call from 01612361088.I'm getting these calls twice a day to my moby.  Each time I answer they either hang-up or I get the muffled voice of someone, who then promptly hangs up!  If they want me to buy a product or service then they clearly need to try harder!  Hanging-up on your potential customers is arguably not a successful marketing idea!
ps:anyone know how they could get our numbers and names?

This ignorant bunch do not remove your details from their records even if you ask them to. I have been pestered by them for weeks now and have at last registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) but this takes a while to take effect. Hopefully, once in place it will stop these irritating buggers for once and for all!

They ring me nearly every 2nd  day, I never answered, its happening from past month

These jokers have been calling me up to three times every week day for almost two months. I have never answered the call and I'm thankful to everyone on here for letting me know about this scam. Surely this is illegal?

I have had several calls from this number.

I tried calling back from a landline and got a recorded message apparently from a company call Marmalade, or something of the sort.

If it is a marketing outfit, I find it rather odd that when I try to answer the call to confront the caller they hang up. A very dodgy outfit indeed!

I would suggest all calls from this number are rejected and a complaint made to your mobile phone service provider. It is frightening to think just anyone can possess details of a confidential contract you have with them!!

They call me atleast 3 times a day.

gotta call from this number, man says 'hello' about 4 times, and really acts well in making you think he cant hear you, then he hangs up. i never knew there were sites like these LOL

constant calling..very annoying so i called them back..its lovemarmalade.com...on their website you have option to remove your number but am unsure if this is wise to do so as may encourage them even further...any comments...???

ive only picked up once, it was like this weird drunkish sort of guy laughing down the phone. i think this has something to do with 3. is everyone here on a 3 contract? i think that they give away your numbers to companies etc. this is so obv a scam ! i am 13 btw

out of the blue i started getting calls from this number, 2 or 3 times a day without fail. it's been going on for 2 or 3 weeks now. i never answer, but i called back after office hours and got an answer message saying welcome to 'Love Marmalade.com'.  This is interesting as it seems to differ from most of you who got calls on this number. wierd. But a lot of people have got calls from the so-called 'marmalade' people on a different 0161 number. Once i did answer just so i could tell them [***], but they seemed to hang up before i could speak. I've logged them into my diretory as 'annoying [***]' now so i know whenever it's them calling. I'll ignore them until they stop. I'll report back on how long that takes!

I kept getting calls from this number at all hours and they hung up as soon as I answered.
Tried ringing back severall times but to no avail.
Fianlly got through to someone today - company gives its name as lovemarmalade.com - bit random but seems to be mobile phone sales.  Had details on my number and which network I was on.  To be honest their approach to sales is rubbish (hanging up all the time) so I told them in no uncertain terms to stop calling. Regardless of what they claim to be doing (I have heard mention of charity work)I would not recommend doing business with a company that frequently hangs up on people.

Do not ever accept anything from anyone that claims to be part of 3....BMS called me disguised as 3 network and offered me an upgrade, I kept asking what the catch was.....they said that we would restart the contract but not that I would have a 'new contract.' so I called them back and said no, I don't want it, I haven't used it, they tried to wiggle out but we agreed in the end to cancel the contract, they even spoke to 3 to ensure I had the same package on my current number....now 7 months on I realise that 3 have been taking £30 a month for 7 months from my account for a number and phone that I don't have.....BMS have gone into liquidation and 3 are looking into cancelling without the cancellation charge....nothing about money back.  I can't understand how 3 are happy to take my money for this 'number' yet can't tell me who I can speak to to query this!  I've been a longstanding customer of 3 and am considering cancelling over this.....if they're admitting they're cowboys why did they take their business in the first place!

they have been ringing me up for the last 2 weeks! i have missed all their calls when i rang back, it said "Thankyou for calling ilovemarmalade.com"  ? this is very stange.

They called me today. I missed it, sounds like I'm not missing much. The STD code is either Manchester or Mansfield. I just organise my phones through shops, much easier

Keeps phoning at unusal times during the day and never leaves a message.  I NEVER answer numbers I don't know, so whoever it is is wasting their time!

Called tonight at 17:55 I missed the call

Called, knew what mobile network I was on, how much I was spending a month and told me my contract was nearly over (which it isn't).

Cleverly they asked questions which made it seem like they knew your details when really you were just telling them and they made a guess.
