I get the same as mentioned here, had a car accident in 2006 and had one call asking about compensation to which I said I wasn't interested. Since then I get calls to my land line and mobile, today I've had 4, two on each. Has been happening for a couple of days. Extremely irritating.

Just had a missed call from this number... no message left. Husband had car accident a few months back so I guess they're after his business.

This number rings my Home Landline number, when i awnser it cuts of after 5-10 seconds of silence. Don't Know WHO or WHY they are calling, but will not be returning the call. There's nothing I want to buy, and NO compensation I want to claim. All I do is awnser it and wait until they cut it of before Hanging up myself so as to cost them as much as poss, if any one speaks I will just politly abuse them about the fact that they call me trying to get me to sign up to something. (I had this once from a Mobile Phone Sales company and the guy couldn't get a word in edge-ways. he just kept telling me they could save me money but when i found out they weren't from my Network Provider I critisised every thing he said. If this is how you make money DON'T EMPLOY MUPPETS as I will wind them up) Keep them talking but DON'T sign up to anything. AND NEVER GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS.. Cost them money and waste their time but DON'T BUY

I never answer calls to unknown callers, I always check number on web 1st.   Now I have read the comments I will ignore.  They will eventually get the message.

I did use Money Supermarket for an insurance quote, bet they get the info from this website.  If you did also,  I would complain to them.

Had a call from this number today, Ive rung it back witholding my number it transfers to an international ring-tone and then the number hangs up. I am going to carry on ringing it with my number with-held!

I too have had a call from them today about 10 mins ago!!!  same as everyone else grrr

Had missed calls from them over the past few weeks. They've just rung and I answered. They knew there had been a car accident in August 06 but had it down as me when it was my mom. They wanted to know if the car had been stolen or broken into. Told them mom was out and we weren't interested but the woman on the other end said she'd phone back later. So annoying!!!

Its rung me again today, how can we find out where this Manchester number is actually located? Wont BT do anything to sort out these unsolicitored calls?

I'm getting 3 calls per day from these people - all when I'm not in and no message left. They're going to get both barrels if I do eventually answer!

They just just called, I answered and they got both barrels!!!  Calling about an accident I'd been in in May 2006 and they knew my name.  

I informed them that the only accident I'd been in was in 1991, told them to never call me again then hung up.

Caller was male with a Manc accent - scam of some sort.  I'll be interested to see if they call back after the last politeness from me.

A car I have was involved in a crash in 2006, driven by the wife.

Probably genuine, but still annoying.
