nuisance call - callcentre in Manchester with no voice when the call is picked up - ignore.

This is a real nuisance, has called me 6 times this morning alone

This number calls at least 5 times a day monday to friday, line goes dead after answer . I have barred number from phone but even this has not stopped the calls, What point do they serve?

Have been getting this one call me for the last few days.  This is the latest in a string of calls from 0161 numbers that have happened since I reported a car accident in May.  Every month or so another 0161 prefix number starts spamming my mobile at all hours of the day, and when I pick up it's always some supposedly different claims company seeing if I want to claim for injuries resulting in the accident.  Despite telling them each time that there weren't any injuries, the calls continue until I block the number.  Then a few weeks later, the calls resume from a slightly different one.  The previous bunch of spam calls before this one were from 01612494491... frankly they're driving me up the wall!

Exactly the same as Markus. I had an accident in Jan 2007 and it only got finalised this year in April. Had random calls every month or so. Last few days this same number every day and the first time I picked up they dropped the call so I havent bothered picking them up. I phoned my network provider orange and they said they cant do anything other than report to the police, or get a Samsung phone as they can block calls apparently.

You can call the number and go straight to option 9. Enter your mobile number followed by the hash key and this will add your phone number to the do not call list. I have no idea how much this cost to call the number.

They told me i had made a third party insurance claim 2 years ago and they wanted to make sure i had recieved all the money owed to me. Though i hadn't made a claim and also it referred to a motor cycle claim. I don't ride a motorcycle. I started to question the bloke on the phone to which his reaction was to hang up on me.

got my 1st call from these idiots this morning but as I was busy so my wife answered the call the guy said he'd ring back I'm out of work actively seeking a new job so I rang him back got a prerecorded message that mentioned tele sales just before I hung up I heard the dial 9 option to remove form our lists hope it the last I hear from them normally get a call always when I'm busy 0151 number asking the same please go away and get a proper job

This number has been calling our land line for a couple of weeks now, sometimes as many as 8 calls a day, usually every hour or so. They seem to mainly be during office hours though so we assume they are "pest" callers and ignore. Frankly, if its urgent leave a message and we will call you back - or - send a letter!!! Anyone got any idea who you can report these people to?

We've been receiving calls to a company DDI number (not allocated to a live extension) for several days, around 6 calls a day. I have now set the switch to reject calls from this number as it is creating unwanted demand on our lines.

Yup they are a total nuisance. They are a call centre and have no business calling. Ask them for their adress and send them all your junk mail. Share and share alike

i've been recieving calls from that number, they've asked me my date of birth, address and so on, saying am entitle to a compensation because of a car accident in 2007, something like that. I am confused, who are they? does any body know this people?. They just keep calling me all the time.

Receiving numerous calls each day - spoken to them and said not interested in making further claim and not to call me again.  They are still calling it is so annoying.
