Numerous times each day I receive calls from the above number and as other compainants when I answer the line goes dead

This number called me today, who is it?

Number wont stop ringing. When trying to ring back from a home phone it is just saying that i've missed dialed the number.

Received calls from more than one number that chameleon-finance.co.uk use. Very annoying and illegal in my opinion. Computers that call public numbers and then try to connect to a live operator if someone answers were BANNED in the early nineties.

Their website is a holding page that could have been created by a two year old, and I am reluctant to email them as suggested because then I am simply giving them an email address to SPAM me on also.

Would appear that chameleon-finance did not read these rules as I have heard no recorded message the post on this site suggest well over 3% of unanswered 'cold-calls'

Had 2 calls this morning from this number - nothing on the other end - no clue what it relates to

I just recieved a call from this number - claiming to be Auto-Insurance Finance, or similar.

When I pointed out I already had car insurance, the chap said "That's not what I'm offering, I'm wondering if you have Gap insurance sorted on your car yet?"

What's that, I asked.

"Well, it's to insure the gap between your outstanding finance, and the amount the cars worth".

Fascinating, I say. Also completely irrelevant, as I have no finance on the car. Good Day.

I had a few of these calls and got a little upset so when i did get to speak to someone i asked to speak 2 manager.this guy mark/matt came on the phone and I GAVE HIM HELL, and full credit 2 him he kept his cool.He has now taken my number off the system (no calls in 3 days). My advise would be have a chat and if they cant do anything them so be it.

I feel bad for going 2 town on him and there only doing their job. at least they do pay their way unlike some of the other scum out there.

UPDATE!!! The direct number for Kate Wrench in the complaints department is 0161 495 7369. I suggest that you ring up 10 times a day and go through the same process with her to see how she enjoys it.

Fed up with this " caller" ringing at least twice a day.  Not answered as I don't recognize the number on caller display.

I have just started receiving these calls.  I never get the chance to answer and they never leave a message.  Knowing what everyone else is going through, it seems best to just ignore them.

You can register a complaint that they are in breach of the Direct Marketing Code of Practice (Section 6.7) on the basis they are making "Percistent unwanted solicitations" and they MUST remove your details

I get nuisance calls ALL day on my mobile from 01612494497 (last number is a 7, not 6) and it has been going on for weeks, whether I am abroad, in London or around the UK. I answered the call once by mistake and all I got was a hang-up tone followed by a non-stop high pitch.
