Just recieved a silent call from this number, after reading these comments I hope they won't start pestering me!
As for the comment from Chameleon Finance saying they're not cold calling, what exactly is this then? I've never heard of them. Had a car accident back in August 08, I supect it is related to that as others seem to be saying the same.
I've got a Samsung so will block the number if they try again.

I had an accident about a year ago, they've been phoning for ages when i've not been here, today i was and the guy said he was from "MarketStudy errr MarkerStudy" asked about the date of accident then the phone cut off (i think he hung up). I spoke to MarkerStudy who were my insurance company at the time and let them know these parasites are using their name and they're going to take it up with them.

I also received a call from this number this afternoon.  This is the first time, and it seems i got sucked in, as they seemed to be offering me compensation for the injuries i sustained from an accident.  They had correct details of my accident so I assumed they were legit?!  Was i wrong? Has anyone carried through with their offer to claim?  This company called themselves Action.

Received it for the first time today, said Hello a few times, no response and then the line went dead.

Got a call for the first time today, on my home number. I had an accident last year (non-fault on my part) that is still yet to be resolved - I don't know if that makes any difference, but going on what other people have said, this seems to be the common factor.

They left an answerphone message, but it was just background noise.

Management jargon, if ever I've heard it. A company that rings you to 'discuss associated products and services'? You mean to say that you've bought the data from a data company and work your way down the list?

These people are scamers and they called me claiming to be from my insurance company after I had a car accident in December. Makes you frightened to answer the phone and talk to insurance companies just in case it is a scam.

These people have phoned me 20 times since last week and I am fed up of them I got to speak to someone as I picked up the phone quickly last week and was told they would call me back they do not no my name but have my MB number.  I called my mobile supplier who informed me to call 0845 070 0707 that will take my number of the call list I sugest anyone who gets pissed of like me then call this number.

Have requested to be taken off caller list using option 9.
Lets see what happens.

I received a call from them, rang back and the automated line gave an option to remove my number from their call list, press option 9 and when prompted enter your number then the hash key.  Press 1 to confirm when prompted.  That should hopefully be the end to it.  0161 numbers are Manchester numbers, I would guess but cannot confirm that it would be the same charge as a standard national call.

Received my first call from this number this afternoon. No-one on the other end of the line when I answer - they hung up immediately.

4 weeks in a row, 4 times a day on my mobile, leaving no message. when i did eventually pick it up to find out more, the line went dead. i called the number back and followed the automated service then the line went dead.
it's really really annoying and i want it to stop.

I have had this number ring me constantly from about August/September time last year with a break of about a month and half over christmas.  I answered it once and was something to do with an insurance claim I apparently made (I have never claimed on my insurance)  They used to ring me about 6 times a day, its now gone to twice a day, monday-friday for months, always around 11:30 and 1:30. I figured if I carried on not answering they won't ring me...no such luck! And they never leave a message, if they were that desparate to get hold of me they'd leave me a message!!

this number is a fraud. ive reported them and ill make sure something gets done. they trying to get people to pass on there details by feeding them lies and claiming things have happened such as car accidents that never took place.
