They are calling numbers that are registered with TPS
ICO.gov.uk can be contacted and an online form can be filled in to complain regarding this company.
If they continue to call people who are registered with TPS they can be fined.
I have today spoke to OFCOM and ICO and they will take action and take complaints very seriously.

these people are now ringing from 01613372260. offer of some kind of grant and they have a  surveyor in my area tomorrow(how convenient). after reading all of the comments on this site, i will not entertain them anymore, and they will not get into my house.
i have a sore throat today so maybe i sound old and vulnerable.

It seems these scoundrels or similar may now have adopted 0161337_4_400. Three calls already this evening. Sweet Lord can naught be done?

Call came last night to offer grant on insulation and surveyor in area, arranged to come today. I was given his name and said they would call 20 mins before due, this they did today. Whilst waiting I looked up on net and found this site, tried to call number back 01613372260 but would not connect. When surveyor came I informed him of my findings and said I would look into it more and call them if I needed to. He said he was shocked of my findings and asked me to call 08000930998....I have chose to leave well alone.

Jesus there are some really paranoid people out there!! Lots of companys call and bother me on a day to day basis i.e. O2, BT, Sky , to name a few.... This company is actually LEGIT. If you are over 70 the goverment have funding for you to get FREE cavaty wall and loft insulation (check the GOV web site). I know its sometimes annoying to get sales calls as i experience it myself, as do many. But when there is a genuine scheme ran by a genuine company to help OAP's i think people should do there homework before claimin "WATCHDOG SCANDAL". My nan has had a free survey from this company and had cavity and loft insulation installed 2 weeks later, the job was completed without fuss and was to a very good standard. Ironically when my nan called British Gas there waing list for the same job under the same scheme with a 5 month waiting list, which i found quite amusing as the winter would have passed!!

So to all the people who don't bother checking their information before wasting everybodys time (including their own) please spend more time researching before you basically "rant" after a bad day, or after you recieve a few sales calls!!

I work for tameside insulation ringing people all we do is help people save money on there energy bills by insulating there property any 1 on benifits or over 70 get it tottaly free every one else gets a 75 per cent grant and the energy providers pay for the grants

i received a call last monday from 01613373440,i asked for somebody to call round to survey my house.i am 80 years old so i thought i would get my grandson and his boxer mates to be here when the surveyor arrived.i couldnt of been more wrong the guy was polite,informative and honest with his evaluation of my property.i was entiltled to free loft insulation which was installed within 10 days and would recommend them to anyone.

the company may be legit but they are BREAKING THE LAW by phoning me when I am registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Tameside Insulation called me today and I naively made an appointment. I then checked this website and called them back on the 0800 number they had given me, which cut me off. I then dialled 1471 and got 0161 337 2260, I dialled this number and got through.  I have, successfully, I hope cancelled my appointment.  Just to update you, It looks as though they've changed their number from 3440 to 2260.

Contacted by tameside Insulation who said they would be in my area thursday. Have made an appointment between 10.30 and 11.30. I don't plan to be in. The lady with a Manchester accent gave me a free phone number 0800 09310998 to call to change appt but get an answer phone all the time.

I think this is the number,I know it was 0161 and the woman had a Manchester accent. We dont live anywhere near manchester but she said they had people in the area on Thursday. I made an appt but do not plan to be in. I was given a free phone number but only a answer phone.08000930998. Said grants of 70% available for cavity wall insulation. I doubt we would get agrant for anything

the rogues running this company are gangsters gary o brian and ian gibson not only are they a cold call nuisance but they are claiming money back through utility funding for empty houses and when they started the company off they ripped off another insulation company to the tune of half a million yours disgruntled ex worker dont bother complaining ex trading standards work there????????

yes its true if you are over seventy its free but the bosses wanted u 2 pay 150 pound ???i know its scandelous thats why i quit this firm needs shutting down they dont have a guilty head they just rip u off to any of the office staff who read this how can u sleep at nite would u like it to be your grandparents report it now to oldham trading standards not tameside cause they are on the payroll

im a 89 year old widow this company came round charged me 149 for loft insulation and damaged a water pipe which later leaked and caused lots of damage to the ceiling and was rudely spoke to by a manager called gary obrian who told me to jump in front of a bus i am totally shocked how acompany workin in my district is still actively seeking work with the manners they have i hope they go bust and to top it all off i should have had this work done free!!!!!!!!!!!

i worked for the company for 5 years and havent got a a bad word to say about them,in fact i did quite a lot of stocktaking while i worked there which paid for a nice bmw convertable for the wife to drive around in.

was called by this cowboy outfit they sent some surveyor out to check my loft insulation out hmm some schoolboy turned up called sommit bennet the lad didnt even have any ladders and said i needed some insulation that was funny hillserve insulation fitted it last year up to british standards of 270mm

i see this company again and again complaint after complaint sorry guys but your lucks starting to run out trading standards have pages of non insulated houses been claimed for your funding is going to run out insta fibre is not happy with you guys and ciga is ready to pull the plug so much to a good honest firm.feel sorry for the few honest employees u do have workin for you.

my 78yr old mother had these cowboys do her loft and cavity in january,she was told by their rep that ther were no grants for free insulation.after paying she had a call from npower telling her it was free for anyone 70+,they contacted tameside on her behalf and guess what..they gave her all her money back.so if youve been conned the same just ring your energy provider and they will get your money back.thes people should be ashamed
