I applied for a loan with a company similar to these, paid the fee, and got details of loans i could get but needed a guarantor! I would never ask anyone to do this, so i complained and told them i would report them if they didnt return my fee, which they did 2 days later, minus £5 cost money!  Success!!

Which compaby asked for the guarator? i keep on getting loads of calls and letters in the post and do not know who should be trusted

I am being CONSTANTLY hounded by this nymber- seem to call me on Unknown first (witheld) and i NEVER answer these, and then call me from this number...I always think, you want me bad enough leave me a voicemail!! durr!

i just got a quote out of interest now they ring 5/10 times. today they rang 9.00am i have a 6 months old baby. i have said so many times i will ring if i want to go further

I keep getting calls from this number and they leave me voicemail messages, if they actually learnt to speak english before making these calls and spoke at half the speed they may find people actually call back if they contacted Best4Loans in the first place... Make sense really dont you think??

Ha ha ha found this ages ago but its a good way to get them to hang up on you after a few sentences - change the place names to suit where you live (if it gets as far as that) I say I'm sorry you have called a murder scene and usual response is CLICK!!!

Applied for a bridging loan with 'Yes Loans UK', whilst house moving some months ago, since then have been bombarded with text and calls from this number under a variety of loan company names.  Calls are sometimes after 9pm which I understand is illegal.  You also get pre-approved loan applications in the post from Express Loan Company and Best4Loans.
If they catch me now I tell them I won the lottery a few weeks ago on a Saturday, would they like ME to lend them some money?  They then hang up.  They are not to know I only won a tenner.

Same as above and now This bloody company wont leave me alone. They shoulnt even have my number.

all they do is pass you to another company who say they will give you a loan then they also ask for a fee then you find out interest charges are above 35/55% hense didnt take out a loan these people must think we are all that desperate they can rob us blind still getting calls and am about 50 quid out of pocket
i advise everyone not to send these people set up fees as its all a con

I am in the Armed Forces, yet I am hounded by this bloody number. They call me all times at night (since I have a 10 month old baby this is worse then being shot).

I have never applied for a loan with anybody. The only explenation for people knowing my details is because I gave my home number to Halifax. These people know both mine and my wifes names, and even asked for my daughter once.

I was applying for loans online through a comparison site and input my number(which I now realise was a huge mistake!) I told them that I didn't see how a proper company would make me pay any money up front..he tried to assure me that they were in fact not fraudsters...I said no I wasn't naive then he hung up...nice..he was quite rude and pushy and basically said I had no other choice of getting a loan...Don't be bullied into giving any money to them at all..or any details as they will continue to ring and leave you missed calls..i've had two calls today from the same girl..who was trying to pressurise me into being put through into someone else...stick with your bank or at least a loan company you can walk into and see actual people!!  Think they also run under another name beatthatquote or something...not too sure....but this is the other number that they rang from!

Yap, I'm going to my bank in the morning, will close my current and open the new one - just to make sure, you know =) they've sucked out all my details i could give, now i know that it was stupid thing to do(i lied something as well =)) .. OK no money will be taken out, that's sorted... but what the hell am I going to do with my address, mobile number, MY NAME???? at least they can't take any money from this kind of information...can they? oh sh*t, i forgot, IDENTITY THEFTS.... JESUS how deep am I in this sh*t..

As I applied for several loans, when they called I thought it was one of those companies I had approached. They said the loan had been approved and I would get the money in 3 working days. Like a complete IDIOT I gave my card details for them to take the £49 fee. Now I read your comments I understand I will never get that loan and how stupid I am to give card details without any paper agreement. Sometimes I really lack common sense. Why would I have to pay upfront fee to a loan company??
Does anyone know if there is a chance to get that money back? I have tried to call, I was put in the customer service queue for 30 min and gave up.
Shame it took me £49 to learn an easy lesson ;-(

Ive just had a call from this number, I ignored it, glad I didn't answer.

I havr had 7 calls from these people tody. I rejected them all.

its now nearly a whole year later from the last comment, and they are still ringin people,had a phone call at 8.20 this evening, didnt answer, typed it in google ended up here, after reading these comments i definately wont be answering to this number..

Juat had a call from these this morning, on my business number which has neber been used for loan apps so they are breaking the law and auto generating and cold calling numbers.

i am going to pass this information onto trading standards on monday and would suggest you all do the same, what they are doing is against the law and they should be punished the directors face huge fines and or imprisionment for this.

This is alot of effort but any of you that have paid money will get it back.

We actually phoned this company to get a loan...wish I had read all of this first. I am so worried now that we are not going to get the loan, let alone get the £50 back.

Has anybody actually ever successfully got a loan from them?
