I have received  several phone calls even though we are registered under the telephone preference system

ive just had a call from this number, i didnt pick up i never do/ ever since i applyed for a credit card with ...... all theses different people keep ringing me to offer me loans and loads of crap.

Had a call from this number on Saturday morning, looking to speak to my 11yr old daughter.  They had been passed her details from another loans company(!?) Asked them to remove her details from their database immediately.  They are the Unsecured Loans Company.

I applied for a loan today from best4loans -.  I received a call and they confirmed that I had been approved for a loan - then they asked me for £49.50 and they would get someone else to call me back to confirm - I asked what the Apr was they said they didn't deal in Apr which really started the alarm bells going off.  I would just have to pay back £500.00 on what i borrowed.  ot sure if it is a con or not but I wont be going ahead with it...... would rather go without before I would line anyones pockets.  They also said that you could request a refund if you were not completly satisfied ...... can't see that happening either.   Lee

I've been getting calls from this number ever since I applied for an Asda creit card online. I've never heard back from Asda with regard to the application ( I did it for a zero transfer rate offer ) and cant access the progress of the application as my password is not being accepted, even though it was to begin. I have never had calls from 016147550390 before I made the above application. Coincidence? I don't think so. Be aware.

I applied online to Sainsbury's Loans only to be declined. And within an hour this number phoned me and despite answering I got hung up on.

Then the same happened later so I 1471-3'd it and the message said it was the 'Unsecured Loan Company'

I pressed continue application and said to the guy that answered about my 2 silent calls he asked if I applied for a loan, I said yes but not with you! He then sharply said I can take your number off our system not a problem then hung up!

So rude, and I certainly would not use them! They sounds really dodgy then I read this page and it confirms it!!

got a call missed it at 20.50 called back said there office closed at 20.30 obviously a dodgy set up

Got a call two nights on the trot, first stated they were 'the unsecured loan company', I did not reveal who I was. The next one the following night was a silent call and the caller just hung up. Did a 1471 to get their number.

I have had 5 missed call from this number : ( today whilst at work answered it this evening at 8.50pm silent at the other end it is so annoying.

Just been called by these people.  Silent caller, hung up.

I am not clear why but over the last week we have had several dozen calls from random numbers that are either selling or silent.  Some are from outside the UK.

My cynical mind tells me that someone has sold our details on for a few shillings and now we're paying the price.

Time for a new number I think!

I keep getting calls from this number asking for "Gavin". I told them no one by that name lives here. At least I know now who they are from this site.

This number keeps calling ne but I never answer (01614750390) they call at all times night & day

get loads of calls from this loan company but i don't answer, they do ring excessively though, do not give any details out to them, they're loan companies but will rip you off (like those stupid payday loans) - it's best to say they have the wrong number

Keep getting calls from this number and when I answer the phone they hang up. Very suspitious and immature. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY (if it is a real company at all)

Just got a call from this company asking to speak to my 15 year old son. Asked where they got his info from and they said from a third party. Asked to speak to someone to find out who this was but they wouldn't pass this info from just said they would delete him from the database.  This has happened 2 or 3 times from different companies, my son has not applied for a loan, he wouldn't know how to.  They must be getting the info from a source which appeals to teenagers, eg gaming site etc.  Wish I could find out as I would get in touch with them and tell them exactly what I think of them.  Any clues anyone?

We kept getting calls saying my daughter had applied for a loan, which she hadn't.   When I told he she wasn't in they said they would call back - told them not to bother but the guy phoning insisted that he would call back.

My daughter called back and they said they would delete the details from their system.   I was angry about the pestering and wondering whether they are using this technique to give very expensive loans to vulnerable people (only a suspicion).   I after a bit of detective work I found the name of the person I believe to be the managing director - MARK BOWKER.  I called asking to speak to him and it seems that they had actually (hopefully) deleted the details from their system - so I left it there.

However if you are still being pestered, why not phone back and ask to speak to Mark Bowker? If you have asked for your details to be deleted tell him that you will report his company to the Information Commissioner if they call again.  Perhaps if people contact him personally he'll get the message.

It seems to me they should change their name to the "unsolicited calls company"

well me and my partner are looking for a loan and this is one of the company's that we have applied to he called back as we had missed there call to be told that our loan was approved and we would need to pay a fee for them finding it for us which we expected with it being a loan finder place. my partner forgot to ask for his ref no to go online and look at what had been offered in more detail, so we phoned back and they couldn't find him and mentioned that he would need to go the an application. we haven't went through it yet but someone from the company is supposed to be looking in to this and calling us back. but its strange who the first person he spoke to on that number knew about how much he had applied for and his other personal details, and then he phones back and they don't have a clue. the only thing i can think of is that the number goes to one place with different call centres for different company

I keep getting calls from these people to my work number (a hotel) they never ask for anyone, perhaps me answering with the hotel name throws them somewhat, though they never seem to hang up, thats always me. Atleast i now know its no one of any importance and can continue to hang up!

Has 8-12 phone calls from this puppet comp. Asked them to take my name off of their list but another call today and they hang up the phone when you answer. Sent a complaint and will wait to see if they any notice, doubt it so will get legal advice if I do. These sort of companies make me angry, got better things to do with my day than get calls from these pain in the bum companies.
