Have received numerous calls asking for someone who lived at my address 2 years ago want to know how they got my number as it's ex directory and in my name different from the person there after. How do I stop these calls?

Harassing me to pay for a sim card I never received phoned the network provider stating I didn't receive the sim told me be out in four days then receive nothing and a bill of 19 pounds by the end of the week clocked up to 32 pounds and froze now I have moorecroft telling me that I have to pat 68 pound something, they can come to my door but they're not receiving a penny off of me why am I going to pay for something I didn't even get I'll be making complaints about ee customer service aswell

Just had a call from the same numbet saying mdr can i speak to well my husband i said what is this about a personal matter i said no i deal with my husbands affairs she did'nt like it. I told her not to ring again.

These guys called me at 0844 today, and early evening every day this week. They do not leave a message and I have no idea who they are.

I get calls left on my voice mail - the number they call is a local government landline number

Many years ago I had a Barclay card that I got behind with, this was passed on to moorcroft. I payed the payments for awhile then cleared it in one go as my finances had improved. Earlier this year moorcroft started to contact me again saying I still owed them money ( which I most certainly do not) I refused to pay anymore but the still try to get money. It's got to the point where I'm afraid to answer the phone as I no longer have the proof I paid it as it was years ago.

To call them but the name they gave was not me how they got my number I don't know.

Just received a call from this number asking if I was Edinburgh council I said no then they said they would remove my number then put the phone down. It was a young male that rang!

Keep getting calls from this number. They never leave a message. I have now set up BT call blocker on landline and mobile. So no more calls. As my number is Ex-Directory I want to know how they got hold of it.

Harrassing dangerous calls from a company known as well known sharks who try to scam people into believing they have a debt. If anyone tries to ask me for a debt that's over 5 years old I therefore do not have to acknowledge it anyway and neither should you as they can't recover it unless you acknowledge it. Even if these scum know your name DO NOT agree with them, just threaten to report to the authorities until they hang up. They harrass from early Sunday morning to late evenings. I hope these wasters get a massive fine and imprisonment.

I had the same call today asking me to confirm my details. He said he was calling from MDR, and he had to speak to me about a personal matter. I asked him so what personal matter does he need to speak to me about. He said he needed me to.go through security, I refused again to give my.details to him, and he said did you not get the letter in the post. I said no so he said he was going to send another letter in the post. Defo some sort of scam.

Phone calls from 01614752875 when answering call phone goes dead.

This number rang me at 8.45 am. N o-one spoke and they hung up when they heard my answer machine. I do not have any debts.

Called at 7.21pm, woke my son up so had a go at the woman. She asked me to confirm my address etc. Told her no chance and hung up. Debt was paid off years ago, they need reporting
